The thunder part really hits me because that’s when Marinette develops her feeling for adrien and no other song has captured my emotions this much.
In French, that clap of thunder is known as a "Coup de Fourde" or "Love at First Sight." It's really powerful and sends a meaningful message to the audience.

Edit: GUYS, You know the thunder sound that appears in the umbrella scene? In the French culture, the clasp of a thunder means "love at first sight" or "when two fall in love". THIS IS AWESOME!!!

in my opinion, this is the best scene of the seasons so far. animation wise, spot on from samg. soundtrackwise, obviously amazing. storyline...jeez, i can't even describe how emotion this one is. this is the true origin of mlb, where ladybug and cat noir's stories begin, the moment where marinette falls in love with adrien, and adrien comes to see marinette as a true friend. adrien would have fallen in love with marinette too, if not for ladybug.
this music and this scene makes me cry every time. so much longing, love, beauty, nostalgia, hopefulness.
i cannot wait for when the reveal finally happens.

This music calms my soul. It’s like the melody flows perfectly through my brain and keeps it in a slow state where I can be myself and relaxed as I listen to it. I never knew the show was this amazing until I actually watched it. I always thought it was some weird kid show like all the others, but no, I just had to watch it before judging it by the cover. I never thought I enjoyed romance but now I do. This show has changed me, and I’m glad someone had the imagination to create this. I don’t know what else I would do if this show didn’t exist. I would probably still be an irritated, depressed person with lots of anxiety at school. I can’t wait until they finally finish season 4, it feels like a sad season but I still enjoy it.

POV: As the rain was coming down, we landed on the front stairs of Francoise Dupont High School. I looked at Chat Noir. He had a smile on his face, as did I! We had just defeated Hawkmoth and Mayura!! No more akumas, no more senti-monsters. Paris would be safe now that the Butterfly and Peacock miraculous were back in the miracle box. “It's been amazing Chat Noir, stopping Hawkmoth with you, but this is where we say goodbye.” The rain was coming down harder now. “What!? What do you mean goodbye!? I can’t say goodbye! Not ever!” He began to tear up, the smile gone from his face. “It can’t end like this, milady!” He embraced me in a warm, tight bear hug, burying his face into my shoulder. “I can’t bear the thought of losing you!” He began to cry, his salty tears running down my spotted suit. “Hey. Look at me..” I tilt his head up to face me. “It’ll be okay. I’ll always be here for you.” I smile at him, softly, kindly. My smile warm against the harsh wind and cold rain. “But I love you! It can’t end!” My eyes widen, my face turns red. “You’re in love with Ladybug! Not the real me. I’m a nobody..” I cross my arms and look down to the ground. “Hey,” he crouched down under me, staring into my crystal blue eyes. “It doesn’t matter who you are without the mask, because I’d love you no matter what.” I smiled at him, he smiled back. “Then I guess it doesn’t matter if we know who we truly are then, right?” He stood up and shook his head. “You sure, milady?” He was always so caring, kind, gentle. I nodded yes.
“Tikki..” I inhaled deeply, closing my eyes. “Spots off...” Tikki, my ladybug Kwami, swirled out of my earrings and hovered next to my left ear. I was Marinette again. I was vulnerable, helpless, clumsy. I looked down at the ground and shut my eyes tighter together. I could hear a soft gasp coming from Chat. “Marinette?” I pursed my lips together. How could I be so stupid! “Plagg, claws in.” I heard him walk closer to me over the rain. “Hey, look at me Marinette..” He tilted my head up, and I slowly opened my eyes to see...
“Adrien!?” Thunder boomed through the skies, and lightning struck a few miles away as we stared into each other’s eyes. “Coup de Fourde..” I hear myself say. “It’s love at first sight all over again, milady.” All I could do was hug him. Hug my love. My Chat Noir. My Adrien. “I love you, Marinette.” He whispered into my ear.” I hugged him tighter, never wanting to let go. “I love you too Adrien.”
I smile, never wanting this moment to end. “Never leave me okay?” We pull back from our embrace. “Never.” He held out his pinkie. I lock our fingers together, making a promise I never intend to break. He pulled me into a kiss, wrapping his right arm around my waist. My right arm wraped around his neck. He didn’t want this moment to end, and neither did I. We could hear gasps, people clapping, girls crying, and pictures being taken as students were filing out of school for for the last time. Alya was cheering us on, and Chloe was yelling at Sabrina, but we didn’t care. We were a duo. He broke apart the kiss. We leaned our foreheads onto one another’s, water dripping from our hair and our clothes. “It’s us against the world, milady.” He said just loud enough for everyone to hear over the commotion. “As always, Kitty,” I respond, grinning ear to ear. We didn’t care anymore if everyone knew who we were. We didn’t care that we were soaking wet. We didn’t care if the entire school just saw us kiss. It didn’t matter to us anymore, because we were in each other’s arms. We’re “together for eternity. Our hearts belong to each other.”

This is how I would want Ladybug and Chat Noir to reveal their identities. For context, “Coup de Fourde” means “Love at First Sight” in French and is thunder followed by lightning when two people meet. It can be heard in the original rain scene in Love Eater. I wanted the rain scene to happen all over again, and let us remember how the whole love square started. I thought I’d be a good way to end the show, and the school year. Every time I listen to this song I just get so many good and joyful memories of when I was younger, when things weren’t so stressful, everything seemed perfect, but at the same time you wanted to grow up. You didn’t much about r@pe, kidnapping. You didn’t think you’d get bullied very much, and or never.
It makes me cry listening this now, I know this is a romantic song, but think as if it isn’t from Miraculous Ladybug, and you’re sitting in your car listening to it staring out the window. Nothing much to think about, but while listening to this song, it makes me think of memories. I wish that I could be young again, away from the pressure, the stress, the anxiety, the bullies, getting treated differently from your parents, COVID-19, and so much more that you can experience as of right now.
I know anyone can experience those things if they’re younger, (5-8 years old) but it’s most likely to happen if you’re older. You get me?
