Corsa D 1.2 service

Corsa D 1.2 service. The service was overdue on this car. Having recently purchased it from auction I decided to change the spark plugs, air filter, oil and filter. There was no record of the car having been serviced recently and the service indicator light was on. I sourced the parts locally from a motor factors for £50. The sump plug is a torx fitting and was chewed up. I had to use stilsons to get it loosened. Off camera I checked the oil level after running the engine and topped it up. Thanks for watching.

Pays to clean your air mass sensor with electrical connection cleaner spray while you are on and depending on your mileage £20 gets you a new purge valve which is worth changing while you are on as they are a common problem on these cars👍

Hi there, i have a corsa D 1.2 and was wondering what would be the cause of oil leak on left side front of engine like this one in this video, i replaced the oil pressure switch but still leaking any ideas? Much appreciated :)

Hi, it could be the rocker cover gasket that is leaking. I’ll have to get a proper look at mine to see exactly where it is coming from.

Hi, I’m not exactly sure which ones, it may have been Bosch S07 plugs. Thanks.

What was the spark plug gap? 0.8 or 0.9mm?

I read up that 0.8-1mm is an exceptable range. Not sure if that is correct or not. I didn’t check these plugs, the car ran fine with them.
