Eons ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth, PA 56 would run concurrently with East PA 366 to Seventh Street. It would follow Seventh Street into central New Kensington to the boulevard that runs along the Allegheny River (which I think is Third Street but I could be wrong), cross the river and end at Freeport Road (old PA 28). There was also a Truck PA 56 that would continue with PA 366, follow the perimeter of New Kensington and meet PA 56 at the western end of Seventh Street. My guess is they discontinued these routes due to no direct connection with the comparatively newer PA 28/Allegheny Valley Expressway.

I really dont think 356 should be signed for Freeport. That place is barely bigger than the 28 junction and honestly they should sign it for butler
My mistake
Can I see PA 65 at US 422 Business?
Why are you skipping over PA-63? it does have a freeway section. Even though it's short it is a very useful freeway across Northeast Philly
Well I thought it had only 2 exits, but then I looked closely and saw that wasn’t the case. My bad, but the freeway is just signed Woodhaven Road.
