It shows the condition of the plush usually, (assuming it arrived undamaged) When a tag is damaged, it makes the plushy less valuable. Hence why there are “tag binders”, or “tag cases”. These were very popular amongst Beanie Boo collectors. EVEN the COLLECTORS card Fredbear and Springbonnie came with is in a protective case. For what reason? To preserve Value, and quality. Tags are a big deal to collectors. I say he has a right to be upset over a tag on the plushies HE paid for. He paid the 100$+ (USD) for the plushies, he has a right to be upset when it ships in a what I consider: disturbed condition. I only got Springbonnie. His tag arrived almost perfect for me. But, the package he came in was so tight and so small. I’m not a huge collector. But I must say, I wish people understood how much a plushie can cost when you put quality magnets in them. 5-10 MAGNETS in a plushy. Don’t get me started on how good the fabric is. No matter how good your camera is, no video has stressed how AMAZING the fur is. It’s very soft, and not cheap feeling at all. Keep in mind these things shipped from DONGGUAN, China. Hence the 10$ shipping. When you factor in the durability of the magnets, the high quality fabric and stitching, I’d say it’s worth it. Funko uses relatively cheap fabric. You’ve seen their security breach wave. I’d say Funkos 10$ plushies and re-colors are the true scam.
Now Mr. Springs I do not agree with " Hex Is well Priced." But I do agree with all of your other points like the tags, pics etc. Also think it's odd for a pizza cutter and a huma.. cough uh knife.
...I'll be honest, I do not care about the tags being bent. Does things are just too distracting and if I ever got a Hex FNaF plush, I'd cut it's tag of and place it elsewhere for safe keeping. Also, I don't think this Fredbear did the Bite Of 1983. I think did the....the Grape Of 2011...

Yeah I agree I mean I just got my spring Bonnie hex doll and first the little cardboard tag was so so ripped up and his card was split in half and bent so they really need to STOP!! using the cheap plastic bags they really mess up the doll like mine even has a part of his face bent way more then the other.
I’m not gonna lie, but the tags would’ve bothered me too for some reason. I’m like a profession-ist and it needs to be perfect. I’m a collector. I’m guessing it’s collectors OCD.

All of it falls apart? You should return it and exchange it for a different one. That means that the magnets are not strong and as these plushies are all about the magnets, that's really bad.
If people are mad about the tags saying “it doesn’t matter” it does 💀 this shit is expensive as fuck and he could Atleast expect good packaging plus this plush is very good, it’s just they need to fix the packaging and not put it in a bag. If they want to include the bag than put it besides the plush in the box

Idk the tag on my brothers plushie arrived perfectly I'm not sure if it's different for different areas but I'm in the UK so
I made an review to on it the packaging is very bad for the expense of these since like you said these are premium plushies unlike funko
