If the mothers don't know anything about marriage they can't teach the child. Every child didn't have marriage parents lol that's why we need Mentorship and teachers
Dr. Michelle I want to thank you for your great content. Your content and guidance helped me greatly. Could you please make a content on how to be a good daughter/sister in law? In a Godly way. Thank you so much ❤😊

Hey Michelle ❤ Love your message on Marriage ❤ Thank you ❤ Yes it's true how a wife can influence his Husband, I have seen it within beautiful couple of my senior ❤ Have a Great Day ❤
Blessings ❤. This is a great conversation. I definitely tend to lean on the offense way too much! I’m currently dealing with a situation with the husband which has turned into an entire situation. And as he has taken a stand and is making certain decisions I get super offended and won’t speak for a day. I know it’s not right but some of these stands I can’t seem to let role off my back. Now there’s no abuse or anything like that but as my husband is, what they call an alpha male his authoritative personality sometimes takes situations to a whole other level. The thing I love about him is the same thing that sometimes causes me to be upset 😊. I’ve been in prayer a lot but I do need to have that balance about not taking everything to heart. Thank you as usual for a great video. ❤. P.S. you’re coming to my neck of the woods in GA for your speaking engagement but 😢unfortunately Saturday is our Shabbat and I won’t be able to make it. Hopefully you’ll be back on another schedule. ❤❤
@@onekayahu8608 it's great that you're such a reflective wife and are seeking the Lord to help. Marriage is so beautiful but can be sooo challenging at times. But from experience the light of Christ shining on your husband and these situations can Change everything. A bummer you can't make it. If they open up something for Friday evening I'll let you know. As always thanks for watching and your commentary 💋
Thank you for your wisedom! Can you please do a video on how to handle an unfaithful husband? Also the grey areas of faithfulness like his social media and females he messages etc. How can a wife have boundaries and not be a nag when he doesn’t comply or hides it?
Good stuff, except I take a different interpretation of "head." I believe Ephesians details it as a servant who is to love and take care of the wife as Christ takes care of the church. There is no hierarchy, no lordship, no final decision stuff in these verses, and each is to submit to each other. This just goes back to Christ's command to love one another, and everything must, must, go back to a command of Christ. Anything else is spiritual bondage that is read into these verses. Also, of course, Christ overcame the curse from the garden. Ultimately, a woman's (and man's) identity is to be a Christ-follower. BTW, let's not blame Eve for Adam's disobedience in the garden. Women definitely have influence, but blaming women is taking things too far and is very harmful.
@@Himmiefan I can see exactly where you're coming from. Thank you for sharing that. In saying these things I take Ephesians 5:23-24 in my evaluation of wives being subject in everything to their husbands. We are not in bondage but of service to one another but in that, there is still order and leadership. Thank you for watching 🤍✨✨✨
I love all of this. But I wonder what would be your advice for a woman who happens to make more than her husband? How should she show up as a help mate when she's carrying the heavier side of the financial burden. This is not my situation but it does cross my mind, what if I make more than my future husband?
I know you weren’t asking me, but whatever money you make will just contribute to your funds. It’s just something extra that can/will help you guys out as a partnership. She speaks more about a helpmate at around 17 min and goes into good detail. We show up for our husband in other ways aside from financial (though that can help as well). When we’re working we’re in our masculine and when we come home or are with our man we fall into our feminine and let him take that lead role.
@ExquisteEtta I understand that you did not ask me, I would like to share something with you. You have a valid concern. Ask God for a renewed mind, and believe he’s renewing your mind. 2) Ask God for his desire for you. When he tells you his desires for you, believe it and come into agreement with it. If his desire is for you to be married, tell God your concern and ask him to help you entirely. Because you don’t want to reject what God has for you because it look like a financial uneven scale between you and your spouse. Remember once you marry, the finances belong to you both. One thing you can be confident in, is if the Holy Spirit has confirmed to you who your spouse is, you connect with that person, and then you marry them, God will give you peace and direct your heart as to submit to your husband’s leadership. His leadership may include giving you leadership over a certain area in the relationship where you have the strength. Your relationship may not look like others but there’s always a peace in knowing God is directing it.

Save that additional money for you, and let him pay the bills (unless there is an emergency). If you want to have kids, save it for them as well.
