thanks for the review! But there is a question - why, why, why don’t all bloggers reveal the truth?! You have a device, but you still haven’t shown how it works WITHOUT Wi-Fi and the Internet! What is the quality of translation without the Internet?? I am an athlete, we often have training camps in forested and mountainous areas where there is no cellular communication or Internet, and if the device worked well without the Internet, it would be a very good help to communicate with colleagues in sports from all over the world!
He's editing it probably go make the translation response time seem instantaneous. Either that or it's giving the wrong translation and he has to do another take. Either way, red flag
My question also. And no, if the purpose of this video is to demonstrate the speed and ability of this device then editing the pause before translations is hiding the limitations of the device and therefore is bad editing as it’s not allowing the viewer to get an true and accurate demonstration of the device.
Would be nice if you didn't cut the frames writings time til transnationale, there is a lag and I would like to see that. So this is not a real review.
thx for the video, the only thing that interests me, is the waiting time/dely between the translations. But you cut these parts out, so the product looks much better that way.
There will always be some delay. In English you say I want to buy something for my daughter, in German you will say roughly Ich will etwas interessant fur meine tochter kaufen. The verb buy in German is kaufen. So anything translated from or to German will require aome patience on the speakers. That same goes for other languages, like Japanese.
@@travel-curiouscom8287 anyone who has used google translate knows it sucks compared to this. Especially the voice recognition mode it cuts you off constantly and you cant have a fluent conversation like this device.
@VvsJules Google Translate does that in conversation mode. I feel like this only advantage this has is there's a physical button to press. The phone literally does everything better. Has better screen, better speakers, better microphone, and I bet even the translation is better. I guess it's useful if you don't want to kill your phone's battery doing translations all day, but I usually carry 2-3 smartphones with me.
I have a W3 and it's not as accurate as the T1 mini. China out did themselves on this one. I was using the translator app on my IPhone but decided to set up my game and ordered translator earbuds but was very frustrating. Then I bought the W# it worked ok for a bit then not. I did more research and decided to give the T1 a shot at the title. You simply can't have a great conversation with anyone always texting and looking at you phone so my big test will be in the morning at breakfast. WAHOOO, I'm excited about it.
buenas noches, muchas gracias por este video, me sirvio de mucho ya que queria ver si valia la pene el mini y efectivamente funciiona muy para lo que quiero, el ti me gusta mucho tambien pero es casi el doblee, muchas gracias

Exactly what I need for my next trip, wish me luck.
Fantastic review!!!. However, I'll be sticking with my T1 hehe.

great review. always entertaining.
Why were their cuts in the video just before the translator was translating?

Maybe he’s just a good editor

I need a translator that works both ON and OFF-line. If I'm in an area where wifi signal is weak...I'm up hill creek without a paddle😭😱
Stylish, classy, up-to-date and impeccably presented
How long is the pause between translations?
you are always the best channel on youtube reviewing new tech in my opinion.

My thoughts exactly, why the cuts? Was he taking out the lag between speaking and the translation?
Hey! Great video! Can we have a video on other cheap translators for this year?

@@RogerRamos1993 It has a delay no matter what the language is
Which do you recommend to buy, the mini or the bigger one?
Will the Bluetooth mode send audio from T1 to Bluetooth hearing aids?
Can't wait for the prime days let's go
If these can work so well in this form factor, I'm surprised there isn't an app that can do exactly the same thing using your phone.
There are microprocessors needed
You can, it's called Google Translate, works almost exactly the same, has a photo translate feature in real time also
@@travel-curiouscom8287 Google Translate doesn’t actually work all that well, though…
@@travel-curiouscom8287 anyone who has used google translate knows it sucks compared to this. Especially the voice recognition mode it cuts you off constantly and you cant have a fluent conversation like this device.
@@travel-curiouscom8287Google translate definitely not as good
How is this different from your Google Translate on your phone?
T1 all the way!
Does the offline download work? Because many language translators claim you can download offline but don't work.
I would love such a device
But is it compatible with Bluetooth?
god dammit i want this. will probably settle for the Mini.
What is the price of the device?!
Excellent stream.
Excellent, but would like an explanation of the "1 year global plan."
This would have been a gamechanger with an aux jack for outdated microphone systems for churches or businesses.
These things are getting better every year! Awesome!!
Can someone explain to me the advantage this has over using Google Translate.

Why does it need data?
Hoping for a sweet prime day deal!
You called it a real world test but you do it sitting in a studio !
Go outside into the street and use it that would be a real-world test !
Very Very fun
Nice😮
You are editing the video to reduce the pause btn speaking and translation. Red flag

The mini is better better with translated
I just wish the English didn’t sound like a robot.
Hi
First :D
Which other Asian languages besides Japanese and Chinese does it have ?
Vietnamese ?
Why isnt this just an app?
