COOL Crane!! I like how the driver is kicking back and reading a newspaper! A good alternative would be to have the driver leaning to one side with one hand on the controls and a bottle of Weihenstephaner or Weltenburger Kloster in the other!!

I have rented and owned backhoes, excavators, skid steers, rollers and tractors. If someone liked operating equipment that much, why not just do it for real? That said, mad props to the guys that designed these things. The skill and machining to create these working scale models is off the charts. Maybe creating them is the most fun of the whole process. Anyway, very impressive!
This is for more of retired life. At least from what I’ve seen.

When it started tipping I remembered when it fell over in the real world at the Miller Park. 'Big Blue' fell down in a high winds situation and had a lot of us crane loving people very sad here in Milwaukee.
Actually the Lampson crane was the one that collapsed that day. It was replaced by a Liebherr. I think the color of the model was what threw you off. The Liebherr was red, but the Lampson was blue. I was an Ironworker, working at that site at the time.

38kg at what radius? 38kg at 10 cm radius is not so good but at 2m as it looks is great. Also you have to take into account the amount of boom he has reduces his capacity
