So, Beserk. it's a story (started as a Manga back in the 80s) only has 360-odd issues (Author died last year and so far they haven't put out anything from the studio behind it) PARTS of it have been animated. it's usually the same bits a few times. the best one is the 1997 rendition IN MY OPINION, but even that cuts out some of the real ish they get into in the Manga. So 1) it's OG Rated R for Real (and yes steal the line if you like it), it hits some HEAVY FUCKED UP NOTES. 2) You know Dark Souls? Elden Ring? that shit? this it the grandpapy - this was the story that started that ish and even then that ish is WATERED DOWN of dis ish. 3) that bar - "I don't speak well but my blade is poetry" the artist, his work on the art is fucking crazy masterwork if you want the ABSOLUTE best experience, peep them panels like a old comic don't worry about the anime - which is fine if that's how you like to digest stories, but seriously, dem panels are "MAN I want to get this shit blown up and on a fucking wall" good.
Never read senin manga ot anime , usually just shonen and others , so you recommend me to read it ? And if I'll do what do u prefer manga or the animated version?

I recommend Berserk to everyone, but always with a caveat. It gets REAL dark. There are a LOT of fucked up parts and imagery. Its a great story, but it can be too much for some people.
