I like how you analyzed that Tony was relaying the story of Iron man 3 to bruce, but even though that lead to the idea that he lied about igor being the hulkbuster, im still sure it wasnt. Since not only did he blow up all his suits in the end, bruce and tony worked together to create the hulkbuster. Bruce also wanted ironman to be able to stop the hulk if it was necessary, since bruce wasnt yet at peace with turning into hulk by this point. This is true for the comics also. But still, i really did like your view point and him lying about igor being the hulkbuster as a construction suit instead is actaully a way cooler detail in my opiniom 😂 so i much prefer your analysis!
Thank you for your comment bro :D I really believe in my theory, you have to remember the story is told from Tony's perspective, and you can tell that he is lying a lot😂 For instance when Tony's mansion collapses, there is no Igor to come and support it from falling. No suits to defend the mansion. At the end of Iron Man 3, he says he retired from creating suits, took out the shrapnel from his body, and made a necklace out of them that he gave to Pepper. A shrapnel necklace would be really uncomfortable to wear and I doubt she would like it, we also never see it again. In Avengers: Ultron we see Tony is not retired, he builds a lot of robots and also Pepper is not with him, probably mad at him, maybe they are on a break. He built over 35 suits, surely he also built an armor that to stop the Hulk 😂
