Wonderful ideas! I love the jeans pocket most of all because it is your fathers. The worn spots from his bill fold give it extra character. I am loving the smashed cans now that I have seen you do a few.
I Love all 3 of the projects! Wish I had my Mother or my Mother-in-law to give those 2. My Mother-in-law treated me like a daughter, even staying in contact after her son and I divorced. She was sure special. Have a Happy Mother's Day Tracy!
Hi Tracy!!! Love the smashed can pockets. I have sworn off buying craft supplies and am making things for my craft/ antique booth. I was able to make some patriotic and spring wreaths. I scrounge around and challenge myself. My favorite is the burlap flowers on my patriotic wreath.
So cute....love all of them. I lost my dad over 3 years ago and i have some of his jeans....love the jean pocket arrangement.... I am going to make my mom, sister and it an arrangement. Maybe my neices also.
Hi Tracy, I love the can flower holder!! I bought that can opener a few months ago and I really have to do it several times before the lis comes off! Have a Happy Mother’s Day💞💐
I think the bow would be prettier on the front of the smashed can. It's too pretty to hide. I love all of these projects. Thanks for sharing your video!
Thank you Annette for the suggestion to put the bow in the front. I LOVE IT THERE!! I'll do a #shorts video to update my community and that the bow looks so much better in the front. Thanks again! xoxo!
I love all of these! My favorite is your dad's pocket what a wonderful idea, my dad's been gone for years now so this really touched my heart, thank you!🥰
I love these. How I wish I had some of daddy's jeans! He passed away 20 years ago. Now I am looking at my husband's jeans. He still wears them. 😆 Still not safe.
OMG!!! What super adorable ideas!! I'm going to be making some of these!!! I have a few pair of old jeans . And now I have an idea of what to do with at least the pockets .. thanks Tracy!!! 👍👍👍😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗🤗
Tracy as always I love all your projects ❤ Thanks for telling us how to make the smashed can pockets. I was imaging using a heavy hammer or a vise grip or something along those lines. I absolutely love the denim pocket. I wanted to make my sisters something using my mom's and dad's clothing. I wanted something special and that they would recognize the fabrics right away. So the smash can planters would be perfect. I also have some of mom's broken jewelry and items that were missing pieces and these would be perfect. I have some of mom's blouses, and dad's pocket shirts. I can use items from the both of them and I know my sister's will treasure them. TFS. Have a fabulous week! Take care. God bless ♥️
I love everything as usual! I love the blue jean pocket. I have several from my dads jeans, he passed away in 2017. My problem and i am frustrated beyond belief, because i want to do this craft. I have an idea for the cans that no one i have seen at least has do e yet! But my cans have a solid bottom on them and i cant figure out how to cut the bottom off. Please help...lol
Hi Tina ~ for my 'flowers and garden" bucket I did in this video I share how I got the bottom off because I couldn't get the electric can opener to work. ua-cam.com/video/ysAEqd56L7k/v-deo.html ~ It's not the ideal way but it did work for me. I used a punch can opener that had the pointy tip. Just an idea and hope it works for you too.
Everything turned out stunningly beautiful!! I see the greenery you used in the last project(bird nest) on lots of creators channel's but I can't find anyone who knows the name of it. I don't live near a Hobby Lobby, Mic, ECT so I'm wanting to order some of it online. Would you happen to know the name of it? Thanks love!!!!
Hi Kimberly ~thank you for your sweet comment. The greenery is called Green Baby's Breath garland and it's on SALE this week as I type this message. Here is the link. www.hobbylobby.com/Floral-Wedding/Bushes-Garlands/Garlands/Green-Baby's-Breath-Garland/p/8668
