This is a sweet friendly guy and a guest to this town. The locals treated him very poorly, like he was from outer space! They acted very strange toward him. What a shame!
I had to explain to some "idiot" that when he's in public, anyone is allowed to video record him. On private property, that's a different story, because business owners have rules that are supported by the law, but in public people get recorded every day -- particularly by street light cameras and the cameras outside of businesses and residential properties.
I don't understand how these people think you could have been more respectful? Sounds like we got a bunch of clowns in this comment section! People that cater to Karens... Trying to get rid of that attitude here.
Good work, but just imagine how "uncomfortable" Karen would have gotten if a big Black man were doing exactly what you were doing. She probably would have dialed 911 and claimed she "was in fear for her life".
Fun video! Thanks. Greetings from Seattle. I grew up in Burien. Boulevard Park neighborhood, to be more specific. So many people think one needs permission to be filmed in public.
I see some haters in the comment section here... They don't seem to understand why people would want to exercise their first amendment right so we don't lose it and I don't understand why people cater to Karens? If you work in public expect being recorded!
I live here and have been in that building a hundred times to pay my water bill. I never bothered to wander around. You were not in any employee only area, that's a public office and you stayed in the public areas. 🙄
I wouldn't want to be filmed by some stranger at work either. Especially when people turn around and put that conversation on UA-cam for the entire world. Kinda a jerk.
Yeah he's such a jerk for filming the wall and keeping the camera off of her until she made a stink about it... What a jerk for being polite and respectful to everyone he encountered... You know if I worked as a public servant I would welcome the public to record my office.. if a camera makes me uncomfortable then maybe I should just tuck my tail and hide in a little shell my whole life.
So heres the deal. I get what you're doing, the dalles is a beautiful place and I've visited there many times, the problem here is that you were walking into their storage rooms that say employee only on the doors, you were going into their file rooms. You were trespassing. You should've been way more respectful. Your excuses are very naïve, your actions were very disrespectful. You might get a little further and have actually great conversations and better videos instead of drama, if you were more respectful
I watched the video too and he did not go into any area that said employees only are restricted so I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah he was never disrespectful either.. I think you might be talking about it different person in a different video
You think it's silly that people make sure that we can freely exercise our constitutional rights in public spaces? People have died for those rights! Why would it be silly to exercise them?
@@kmkfan42069 i fought n bled for my country and lost many many friends! That makes me appreciate life. My big problem with these videos are they are not professional. They come across as baiting or provoking so they can get more clicks and views.
@@yankbbq6913 I totally appreciate you for that! I just can't agree that they were malicious and if people would just do their job then they would not have been a problem and I would have got to enjoy the whole tour... Expect no privacy in public, especially if you are a public servant.

'The girl who cried wolf!!!'
these people are like "there's a camera in here, and a man, keeping us from continuing our girl talk, please come and make him feel bad

Yeah, it's amazing how many people are ignorant of the law when it comes to video recording.

Ahhh, "The Dalles." People, you have to live in Oregon for a couple of years. There's nothing else in the world quite like it.
Some of the commenters here don't seem to like freedom...
Nice work

I understand recording old buildings but common your purpose is to make ppl uncomfortable!
Actually it is to educate people that people have rights and that those rights override Karens' feelings!
Trailer Trash Town.
