They should allow us to swap the talents with no cost, thereby having the same effect of only having one of the talent in the same rank, but you are not restricted from trial and error and seeing what suits your need
Yeah, basically if you can kill one of the enemies right off the bat your team also receive less dmg in result. Since I'm planning to bring healer anyway, Knockback dash might be a better skill to grab.
@AuronnjJayy If she has access to a knockback without 1 of those skills, then there's no need. But if not, I would pass on the lvl 4 dmg mitigation and go for the aoe 2 tile knockback. She already gets lvl 2 with the reaction, and I doubt they stack.
I watch other creators who have unlocked both sides of the skill tree, so don’t think it’s one or the other but I do hear the the item needed to unlock skills is very limited
Very few bad choices, several of the units have some seriously OP stuff you pretty much need to take but hell.... play however in this game and your good IMO

Some one probably asked you this but the debuff negative stats and counter att can be a good combo? If he 70% counters hits debuffs? I think this can be great. If she take dmg for others can she counter attack them too?
Unfortunately, no. The only option, if you wanted the other skill, would be to use the rare resource to unlock the other side. At least at that point you would have both.
Do you get forced to choose at that moment the "skill" or I can come back to it after doing some research and then selecting the skill I want to go with?

I mean I remember you could also get Basic atks, reactions, Skills etc from doing quests then giving them to a character that could use them based on their role, because not all skills you find could be given to any character. Those skills also have rarity (yellow/rainbow). I'm guessing the skill tress got unique skills for them? But maybe some of the generic ones could even be better eventually or acquire earlier in the game.
I ruined my Crimson Falcon because this stupid google doc linked everywhere tells you to get Be With You and Locking instead of Ambush and Precise Strike. I super hate this mechanic and it might make me quit the game entirely. I did not get Col so my only good Seeker is Crimson Falcon for the foreseeable future.

I already hate the talent system. This takes away the fun of trying out a character's skills and adapting them to suit your needs. I hope that there will be so much negative feedback about the system that it will be changed.
But no one is forcing you to go based off of meta, you still can choose your preferred skill and try out the character. This is only for ppl who want the best of the best.
Actually games with no risk are no fun games, whats the point of creating a charavter if you can reset it at any given time. Sure sime mechanic for reseting like some rare item or event is fine but , some choices should be permanent people need to learn that each choice has its pros and cons.
Wow, the choice between Penetrating Attack and Powerful Attack for Mitha is almost insulting. Unless there is something I do not understand about it. (which, tbf, is absolutely possible since the game isn't out yet.)

I think getting 1 of those knockbacks really adds utility to the tank imo. I was knocking enemies off the edge repeatedly with her in the demo.

If she didn't already have one Id lean in that skills way a bit more, but that taunt is gooood

Taunt + counter = core setups for tanks. The self-healing and debuffing are just icing on the cake.

I personally would choose Block counter and Maitha's combo. Counter to debuff 2 enemies per round with Penetrating and Tank need a reposition skill.

If you choose Guard at level 1, then you already have the taunt. Then you can pick the charge skill instead.
