I went into Titan fire escape yesterday, was a loot room with 9 objects. Not sure I'd even seen a room with 6+ before that
yeah I did the same yesterday and got like 5-6 loot in the same room, followed by that big U shaped room full of shit as well. only unlucky bit is we got way too many turrets and lost like 4 people lmao
Had 2 or 3 runs in a row like this on Titan. We made so much fucking money
Whoopie cushions might be very dangerous when taken outside, but if you're inside, it probably wouldn't hurt to put the cushion in a doorway threshold (probably one with no door attached for maximum value) at a high-traffic choke point inside the building. That way, not only do you have a failsafe against a sneaky bracken or cheeky coilhead, but you can estimate distance and triangulate the position of certain people/entities in general as well (figuring out where a wandering thumper is, for instance). Almost an impromptu spray paint marker, if you will, with funny sound effects. Dunno how well this works in practice, though, I've never tried it but the idea struck me just now and maybe it's a tad useful so whoopie cushions are destined for more than just being tossed by the wayside and banished forever
something i do that nobody else does but is very effective: always close doors behind you. if something is silently sneaking up on you, you'll hear the door open. i've had it save me from the flower man a couple times, and made me aware of snare fleas.
I had that happen organically once, I put a whoopie cushion at a door to get more loot and I heard a fart noise 10 seconds later, I went to investigate and it was a damn Braken

Liking the fix they did on Titan. We used to avoid it like the plague because of the amount of turrets in just ONE room alone. We had a run before the fix it had 5 turrets in one room, then 2 turrets at main.. ;_;...

I found out some things you might wanna know Insym. 1) Baboon Hawks are not affected by noise. You just need to look at them, kinda like the Bracken, but the duration you can look at them before they come peck you is longer. 2) The Ghost Girl needs room to spawn, so putting the computer with it facing the entrance to the ship, back to a wall, will make the terminal person safe against her. 3) No Monsters can hear aside the Eyeless Dogs. 4) Do not backpedal versus the worm, just keep moving, occasionally sprinting to keep yourself from getting eaten. (Jumping may or may not have a chance to get the worm to miss you, this last one is from personal experience, the rest was from a myth buster vid.)
Oh, one more thing, there's a mod to quick switch the cameras between players.
Yeah I watched the same video! Sadly a lot of it was wrong. Which is pretty surprising because wurps usually does really great research. He has already posted clarifications in his description but he should have really pinned those in a comment because now people are going around spreading missinformation.
The mistakes he made:
- Baboon hawks are effected by noise, but only noise from items, such as clown horns and airhorns. They will use the player voice to communicate your location to other baboon hawks as well, so it is actually kind of bad to yell at them.
- Apparatus WILL spawn monsters, there is a 70% chance to spawn 2 monsters but this ONLY happens when there aren't already 2 or more monsters in the facility.
- He also says NO enemy at all except eyeless dogs listen to sounds and it seems like that's wrong too. Hoarding bugs, mimics, baboon hawks all seem to have some sound interactions. But it needs more testing.
- Also in the video he was very unclear about if holding an item worth 150 or more will make you more or less haunted. It makes you MORE likely to be haunted, so don't do that lol. Really not sure why he didn't say that clearer.
Also a lot of these we already do:
2. This is why we always put the computer in a weird way, so the person sitting on it never gets killed by ghost girl
4. This is what I always recommend to people. Don't listen to the data entry, just keep running against the worm.
There's a Mod called Quota Roll Over btw, so you're not set to 0 when you get a new Quota.

@realjimmycasket This is my first time watching, but correct me if I'm wrong, but having any quota or player-based mods installed would automatically make the run non-submittable, right? Otherwise, what's stopping someone from running a mod with infinite money or invincibility and just uploading that as a WR? Mods that make the game easier kinda take the fun out of, well, running the game.
@@treerover5376i think there are sub-types of high quota runs that account for QoL mods (quality of life). like the dif types of speed run categories related to glitches or mods and out-of-bounds

Something I noticed though, most of the previous videos had the channels of the people you're playing with linked in the description, but I haven't seen that for these most recent videos. It'd be cool if it was a little easier to find the people in each video without having to memorize their voices.
I know you're a hella busy dude, but is there any chance you could add those back, at least on videos going forward? It just feels better to me to make them all easier for us to discover and support :)

If you want to switch to a certain player, you can do "switch (partial of playername or full name)" to switch to them... IE, "switch psy" would switch to Psycho.

My power goes for 2 hours a day and an Insym video that is 2 hours long? Yes please!
One thing I notice is your crew needs to bring the loots to the ship more often. Often, I see you try to go the extra mile to get extra loots from the labyrinth only to end up having to leave like 300+ loots because of dogs or giant
For future runs, rainy is usually only bad on Rend and Dine where you need to make long treks to get to and from the facility with limited vision. All it does is increase the amount of quicksand which is super easy to get around.
There's no rainy weather on Rend and Dine bro, only stormy and flooded
@@IDyn4m1CI My bad, I have not personally spent a lot of time on the paid moons and had not noticed that. However my point still stands that rainy is definitely the best condition in situations where it does apply.

the key master strikes again unlocking the doors with action.
When you're on the terminal, if you type "switch psy" you'll switch to psycho faster. You just need the first 3 letters of the players name and you can switch to specific cameras without cycling
I prefer to just use a macro, I press Ctrl+R and it just types switch and enter. Can't get any faster than that

This titan is actually fantastic
My first Insym video, and it was a blast. But can someone who knows the channel tell me if runs like this that aren't finished tend to ever get a Part 2? All video long he was talking about how insane things would get once they were out of the early stages, but the second the early stages finish, the video ends.
A good number of these runs do, but they're not usually labeled as part two. In the beginning of them he'll usually preface if it's a continuation of a previous run
Hyping up Titan in a video while on the same night he uploads it, the live stream was like, "Titan is not worth it". I know the video comes from an earlier live stream, but it's kind of funny nevertheless.

my group and i always B-lined it right for titan, we loved the chaos of it. And we loved every minute of it. Embrace the dumb.
I was playing mostly on Dine since I mainly play singleplayer, and after getting some friends to hop on I wanted to go to Titan for a more fun and chaotic experience, and I was pleasantly surprised to crazy good loot and not as many enemies as I remember. The map seriously is a ton easier than I remembered and has been my go-to even in solo

Theres a cool strat you can do to jesters/coilheads on titan you cant do on rend. You can trap jesters and coilheads begind the mechanical doors if you find a dead end with a mechanical door. Its kinda specific but can save the run

Holy shit, that’s an amazing change
Our squad tends to sell a bit extra on the 1st quota just to stockpile on pro-flashlights, some shovels and an extension ladder. I feel like having at least 1 item for a self-defense against mimics for example can make it possible to loot more in the end. Do you reckon it is better to instead sell the minimum for quota and stockpile for later on?
Insym, you should try using a radar boosters on eclipsed moons and placing them some what far from the ship and ping them to make noises for dogs, you can also use it to flash forest giants for those trying to get into the ship or you can use it to flash inside enemies. Only downfall is you have to have someone on the terminal to ping “make noises” and flash enemies.

The problem is that the ping range is too low to attract dogs away from the ship. Flashing forest giants is the best use for this, but to distract dogs, constantly ordering walkies is your best bet
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but now that the mines work properly you think that you can get rid of problematic mines by standing on one then having someone teleport you out which should set it off and destroy it?
This seems like something that works but would most of the time be too much of a time sink to be useful. Think, someone has to stand on it and someone else gas to run back to ship and teleport you. Then they have to run back inside. Minutes are precious on these runs, you'd spend like 5 minutes getting a mine out of the way that you could most likely just walk around.
Btw had a game today where 3 turrets at front door. 1 to the left around the corner 1 down the hallway to the right and 1 at the front... every person died instantly when going in... 10/10 would recommend going again.
Hell yeah, titan buff!!! I have always preferred titan due to easy fire entrance, entrances close to ship and i dont like the mansion map that much. This is going to make playing titan so much better :p

@@jakedanielsen4512 tbh it depends on whether it is divided by 10 first or multiplied by -10. If it would be the first one it would be neutral if it is the second one it would be a lot lower than neutral so probably neutral

i have a question. can circuit bees lock onto other hives or just their own hive? as iom always scared when i have a hive ont eh ship from another run and im getting more bees
only their own hive. i had a run where an extra set of bees was just flying around for no reason. i guess their hive fell under the map and the bees were angry at zeekers and punished my crew for it

Hi Insym, have you thought about bringing one walkie-talkie with you to the match?(ship-navigator - player) Yes, you lose one slot, but instead you get access to places that in a normal game you wouldn't even get to, or the ship mom would tell you that you shouldn't go to that place because it's a dead end and there's no loot. So in that scenario you can give that loot to the crew and go deep into the map for extra "unreachable" loot, and help to navigate you to to the way out. The only downside could be is late dogs, that can randomly eat ship's navigator (that you can probably outplay beeing carefull), and probably other players will be without attention from ship mom. Because when you go for that high quota extra 50-200 each day that you'll probably miss every game could be game changer in terms of 40-60 days. I'm really curious what you think about that.

I could see this being the play for a clean-up looter during late game or whenever u can afford to have disposable walkies. Would help find any loot that's been missed earlier or navigating deep enough for more loot.

Insym the baboon hawks don't react to sound I saw someone on youtube just running towards the hawks as a group and the hawks fled. This could be wrong since they had mods on that could have altered the game.
Wurps proved that Baboons dont react to sound. No enemy in the game reacts to sound besides the dogs. Baboons only react to being seen, because they get aggroed when sighted and there's more of them than there are people.
You should check out the description of that video, he posted some clarifications. The baboon hawks DO react to sound. He made a mistake.

where he saw those v49 patch notes with titan buffs? I cant find it
They are not in there! But as you can see in this video there are CLEARLY less turrets (every titan would have many turrets before and now only 1 out of 10 has any turrets). There is also CLEARLY less mansion spawn than before (previously it was like 20-30% now it's only like 5%). Don't know why the dev does these rebalance changes without putting them in the patch notes. It's pretty frustrating for us as it means we just have to guess what's new every update.
@@Insym I didn't even know there were more updates past v47 tbh but as I was watching your vods for the titan only runs I was like whoa they're getting super lucky super consistently, something HAS to have changed xD I'm so glad Titan is viable again! I think it's a really fun risk/reward map and dealing with mansion enemies on facility is.... interesting to say the least =p
