I hated this deck til I started running double hex, double earthshock, double earthquake. Which yes, Shaman is currently busted enough you can do that.
And then you lose against both Quest and Galakrond versions of Shaman to beat one Rogue archetype, not worth for climbing imo. Maybe if Rogue gets played more than Shaman, it could work out better.
@@Laireso I win the shaman matchup by having the infinite shudderwock combo. place 2 faceless, barista, galakrond and shudderwock and you can replay shudderwock every turn til he dies. Barring bad draw order works pretty good. Quest is easier than galakrond though for sure. If they draw Galakrond on 7 and I don't, definitely gets harder.

Zinedin Aldiyarov it is pala. They use mech synergies like magnetic and cost reduction to paly huge early minions

I really feel it might be time to take an extended break from Hearthstone. There's just way too much broken stuff going on these days.

This is why I run a polymorph in the only deck I get the occasional win with, highlander mage.

I've encountered that deck few times now (around rank 5 to 2) and it doesnt scares me so much. I run a variation of the infamous broken shaman, with many spells (far sight, haunting visions, hex, witch's brew (to counter the agro decks like the lepper hunter) and plague of murloc (so satisfying to see an army of big dudes or scary deathrattles turned into murlocs). The added spells works very well with Electra (many interesting combo potentials) and Krag'wa.
That's why Firebat is a world champ. Wowzers.

Did we really need the OP cards? I just wanted to play any of the druid decks. The T1 combo druid is now just a joke in comparison.
I've played this a little bit, and when you draw the apothecary or the anka/anubiseth combo it's really good, but when you don't it kinda sucks. And I almost never seem to draw them in time
I don't even play this game anymore, but damn Firebat you make it seem really fun.
I hate to admit how much I want to play this. I saw it in the early preview. I never got one of the 2/5 cards though so I'd have to craft both. Probably worth it

I have been playing against this deck more than Shaman lately, so annoying.
Because it's one of the only decks that can consistently beat Shaman provided they draw well.
What do you think about running necrium vial in this deck? Is it too slow? Maybe with prep.

So... all this deck relies on is drawing 2/5 in time AND not drawing two 9/9s, do I get it right?...
i think thats the problem with the current shaman,because its really good on the last expansion,and its power bumped up in this expansion,most people are too lazy to make a new deck to the point where only now we see a new deck thats somewhat viable and popular

if you hard mulligan for it, the odds of getting it by turn 4 are 63% going first and 73% going second. It's bonkers consistent if you're not actively dying to aggro

Rogue is like my main and I hate this deck. Decks that are strong because of highrolls are always more aggravating than consistent strong decks

still have anka and carpet.. to be honest, i dont play this deck or shaman, but this deck is actually harder to beat.. i mean, charge is always broken than rush.. and against the deck that has bis charge, you just cant win by only controlling the board..
I do wonder if they will address this deck in any way. Even the most minor change would absolutely destroy it though, so... Now one thing I did not understand: On game 2, why did you use your buffed up faceless corrupters to trade? Flick could have cleared 2 minions with one, then you would probably lose him to the trade. But then you would get your two faceless' on board on the next turn. The math doesn't add up with the data here especially since you ended up flik'ing the single corrupter later, but maybe you were saving Flik for something else?

They can only do that with 5 mana from hand. He had 3 max at the time.
I feel like deathrattle rogue has more counterplay, such as weapon removal and silence, than the current shaman craziness. It still may be too strong, but it feels a little bit more fair. Maybe the silence master priest can make a comeback. I'm not holding my breath.

The difference between this deck and shaman, imo, is that shaman has significantly less recovery. If you can apply enough pressure early, you at least have a chance of winning against shaman. This deck just has so much bs healing with buffed up Zilliax and Scalehide.

This is the equivalent of saying Tip the Scales Paladin was better than Control Warrior back in the day. The deck is solely dependant on you drawing Necrium and not Anub.

Amazing combos but pretty situational don't ya think?
Similar power level to Barnes except you can run 2 of them, so while it is "situational", I don't think this stops it from being an overpowered high roll card.
Faced 8 of these deathrattle rogues on ladde with my shaman, half of them was highlander and 6 if them had the 2/5 by turn 6 latest. Put in ooze just to deal with this, as its good vs the toxic hunter aswell. Havnt gotten a chance to test if thats enough yet,

Every highlander deck runs cabal. It's called Zephrys. Granted it costs 2 more mana

I just it legend playing highlander/dragon mage.... deck tracker has me at 63% winrate versus all these stupid shamans, this rogue deck is legit though, can be seriously hard to deal with if they have that card on turn 4

@@remyllebeau77 Dont know but it oddly had always been full of tryhards even when I had to use it for quests back in the day.
After seeing the deck 8 times in a row I added the last guy and asked if a streamer was playing it due to the frequency. Rank 18 claimed he had just invented it and was testing his creation. lol
i would also add this is not tier 1 and gets wrecked by shamen if you get screwed on the draw.

beat the deck with embiggen druid. it Pretty much Comes down to, who is luckier with his kicker Cards.
this deck is bad because you need to be lucky to have the apothecary on early every time and it gets frozen by the shamans all the time and when you dont draw the apothecary deck goes down because you cant play anything other than 5-4 rush guys and engineers.
