Hey Randy, as you know, I got a bottle of Rouge Privé for my birthday. I have to say that I'm very pleased with it. It is indeed a modern take on the classic EDT and EDP. Oh and your pronounciation was perfect! 👌

What a coincidence i was at saks smelling both the new ones.. wasn't feeling them but brought the original in edt was awesome Guerlain ideal edt that one was great
Ya I have all the ideals the extreme is amazing as is the edt. This one the drydown is a crazy change from the opening and I like it alot more

My news Parfum order came in and the sample of this was also included. I would NEVER have thought this was going to be interesting / purchase worthy based on name/bottle color alone. This is definitely a purchase…wow complex unique very well blended. Your review described it really well!

You are progressing my man keep staying open minded and you might start liking some of them fragrances you haven't liked in the past this sounds like it is right up my alley
See back in the day when I started collecting in 2005 I enjoyed vintage style soapy fragrances but I went away from them for a while

How close to Habit Route ‘Instinct would you say? I’m starting to be a huge Guerlain fan. Lol my SOTD- L’Homme Ideal EDP. Love this stuff.
just bought L'Homme Ideal EDP! smells amazing but its summer where im at so i gotta wait a while to actually wear it out
I have always appreciated Habit Rouge. I have the og EDT and L'Eau. So..I have been curious about this new one. I worked at a Guerlain boutique years ago, and have been a devoted fan of them. However, IMO, Guerlain is becoming more "mainstream" and I am not really all in to some of their "choices" lately....sadly.....IMO. Great review , thanks !
Welcome! They one doesn’t really go mainstream as I know a lot of normal people won’t like this
... My experience with Guerlain fragrances is they can creep up on you for a second go. I used to wear a lot of vetiver and l'homme ideal and when I was convinced the smell was gone, it came back with a vengeance for round two. Especially when I got active or worked out. Don't respray, try some pushups and see what happens. L'homme ideal was especially body heat sensitive on me.
I like and kept vetiver, habit rouge edt [which means red cloak/red cape/red garment] but I ended up getting rid of l'homme ideal. Just wasn't for me -- it's one of those frags I should like in theory but don't in practice. It's a good blend, not my style and I don't know why.

Ya I just got my green adidas hat a few days back and I really wanted to wear it and while I normally love matching this time I just had to go with color coordination over brand matching even tho those two brand clash I don’t have any adidas green shirts. But I will soon

346 but every January I sell a third of my collection to make room. I don’t want to get to large and not even know what I have

@@The_Mavs_Are_Bums yep most of the new releases I get I sell like 2/3 of by the next year and never talk about them again because they weren’t up to snuff for me or not my style. So I usually average between 300-400 even tho a year ago I was saying I average between 200-300 and even tho I sold 41 bottles I bought triple that over the last year lol

Where can I buy this in the states ?? Saw it on eBay but not sure if it’s authentic
U can buy it from French website news-Parfums. Takes about 7 days to arrive that’s the only place I know. eBay is a risk but it all depends on the sellers rating and reviews
