Actually the moment when the spitfire bumped the V1 with its wing is an actual recorded (and photographed) moment in history. The real inaccuracy is an Attacker engaging an ME262.
The inaccuracy is using a Spitfire Mk.I instead of later variants. The Mk.I wouldn't be able to keep up with a V-1, let alone intercept or wing tap one.
What makes it more cool is that each plane has a built in tea maker

As a War Thunder player, I have to concede, this trailer is really cool. Historically inaccurate as all hell, but it's a video game, who really cares?
Who really cares? just whatch the comments a bit, you'll see... all those wowp and war thunder fanboys bashing each other over video games, and I'm pretty sure they're not all kids...

I was saying that there's a lot of wowp and war thunder players out there that would just fight like crazy over this in the comments or elsewhere just for the sake of proving that their game (even their game trailer, like in this case) is better, and I find that kinda stupid that's all, since I myself play both of these games and thats what they are...games, not reality

untill the germans started placing pressure mines underneath the v1's wings...
Actually some Spitfires were used to intercept v1 Flying bombs, for example the Griffon engine Spitfire the Mk XIV

Showing the Spitfire mark 1 chasing down a V1 is wrong, seeing as that variant wasn't fast enough to catch it

though even though it was the wrong variant i think it was good they showed the brits tactic for V1's to flip them over which i think is good

Though the Blenheim scene looked cool as hell, they were medium bombers, the interceptors were beaufighters ( or, I guess hurricanes)

V1's were slow, and tipping them over with their wings was an actual tactic in the war. That's why V2's were developed.

The Supermarine Attacker was the Fleet Air Arms first Jet Fighter
The Blenheim was adapted with both a gunpack to allow the mounting of guns and Night Radar to act as a Nightfighter
Sad Tired the attack unfortunatly it just missed the mark of WW2 the gloscter meteor on the other hand fought in WW2 from 1943 on wards it even fought in the Korean war
Yep, client-side calculations and "pay-to-win" model in WT surely makes it fun. Then I can just buy victories and be cool. A killer!

0:45 Spitfire Mk I, hmm? Well, I'm very sure that's more of a Spitfire Mk Ia, note, the round cockpit, unlike the actual Spitfire Mk I that has a different cockpit.
Plus this spitfire has a three bladed propeller, while the actual Spitfire Mk I has a two bladed propeller.
No... Less than 50 Spitfires have two bladed props.
The rest have three or more props.

This trailer is historically inaccurate, thats not how a Spitfire would intercept a Doodlebug, it would keep its wind about 6 inches below the wing of the V1 Rocket and the airflow over the fighter's wing would force the rocket's wing upwards, thus resulting in it losing control due to the gyros being messed with
The Spitfire Mk. I chasing down a V-1? The V-1 could reach speeds of about 420 miles per hour. The Spitfire Mk.1 just about 360 mph. The V-1 entered Service on June the 13th 1944, The Spitfire Mk. I was phased out in, I think 1941/1942.

Well that a bit of history and I noticed nothing wrong in the trailer I look closely to the Blenheim and it was using its turrets instead of his regular mg if it was in real life those mg gunners have skill

I have killed people with the machine gun of the blenheim, and the b25 had either 5 or 6 pilot controlled machine guns, depending on model
did that blenheim just intercept He 111 or was he just going to land when he saw a formation of He 111 and decided to attack them
Blenheims were used to intercept bombers because they were faster than most fighters of the time, until better aircraft replaced it. It was a bomber as well as a night fighter.

What I'm going to say is something you will agree or not agree:too many he 111 they might have hit there own buddies and Blenheim cannot intercept and how the hell the spitfire took out the v 1 hilarious
Actually that was the way they were taking out V1s in real life :).Of course in here its really fast paced for more action as in real life it would require a lot of concentration.Basicly they couldnt shoot the V1s because the explosion would be so big that the plane would take damage too.So carefully tipping the V1 to get it to stall was a common practice for allied pilots.That untill germans attached pressure mines on their wings xD.
