anise is sort of a tricky note for me in perfumes.... but when blended well, it is so beautiful!
I like the shape of anise ..its like a star . i sometimes use it for cooking potatoes. Jts nice ! 🙂‼️
When you compared Midnight Oud to an Indian kitchen and its spices... I removed it from my shopping cart. Thank you!
It definitely have yellow spices smell. Hard perfume to like at first. But actually after few months i started to understand the beauty of perfume. But not at first.

Indian and middle Eastern spices are similar . Thats why a middle eastern brand has made such a perfume.
Now someone from the west wouldn't understand that and thats ok . But most of these middle eastern perfumes thats "Wow" for western people and i love these perfumes too but they are very common in India , in our incense sticks ,spices .
Its just that if its too middle eastern , then it doesn't become Indian rather it can be only worn by people who have worn middle eastern perfumes for very long or understand its complexity.
I just received my Midnight Oud. I must say, you need to spray at least 5-10 times in the air first time you get this brand new to activate the true ingredients and get the actual incense note. The first time you spray this, you’ll get such a heavy leather smell, or gasoline-like smell. But it’ll disappear once you let enough oxygen to come in by spraying this in the air.
It’s a clone of Amouage Interlude, and i must say Interlude is very potent, unusual and heavy like this. I don’t see if women would wear Interlude, or Midnight Oud.
I don’t blame you if you think Midnight Oud is a little bit ‘meh’. It’s not easy to love by everyone
Ohh that's a very good advice. I haven't tried spray it off few times and maybe need to shake little bit.
I will be experimenting with this Perfume.

Oud 24 Hours: Femenine, floral fragrance. It's weak as well.
Midnight Oud: Masculine beast mode, last forever. Smoke, incense, vanilla.
24 hour it is just clone of tom ford black orchid
