We humans have become too fancy....plastic is not only cheap but also is aesthetic... the more simpler lives we can live it would be better for our environment...i can give you some examples from my own home.....where i improved and where we went wrong... 1. fruit jam comes and sauces in a glass bottle...my mother is collecting those jars from years....so instead of buying plastic containers for spices she is using those jars ... 2. we rarely buy packaged water on train journey....we take a 15 litre camper with us... 3. try to buy unpacked groceries.... 4 . we use the plastic buckets in which the paint of our house came years back....when some of the m were worn out they were used in the garden as pots... 5. as was suggested in anuj's video ..one should never throw away virgin plastic packaging...so we're washing our milk packets..we;re planning to stop getting packaged milk... 6.overall less consumption of modern day things helps.... these were some things....there are more .....at some places it cant be avoided...trying to go zero waste................

Never using teabags...instead loose tea is better. Organic microplastic-free detergents and Cosmetics that are mild for skin as well And many more..... Instead of thinking about recycling the plastic, Upcycling/reusing the products is what we Indians have been doing since a long time. Especially buying less things...less consumption of clothes, amenities etc. Leading a life of Essentialism 🌸
U have a point , But black Salt or rock salt can't be the substitute for the salt because use jyada use nhi kr sakte apn, and uska test bhi common salt se aalg hota hai so haar cheez mai to use nhi hoga wo. .but ha kaffi haad tak common salt ka use kaam jarur ho sakta hai !
y only salt? all the grinted atta / or powdered grains and all processed food items contains nano plastic particles and micro metals as the machine parts are made of polyethylen fiber type plastics or metals both are not good..
Great effort Anuj, keep going and here I would like to mention that even soil has been affected by microplastics. Recent studies shows, even plants are being affected, as many people are not segregating biodegradable and non- biodegradable waste. One of the worst inventions made by the human brain, we are responsible for everything. Plastic could be destroyed, only if the manufacturer stops, till that we can't get good food, air and water, which are essential for human beings to survive.

Thank you for this video, that spreads awareness. As you asked for the solution, we definitely cannot revert back or completely cut down plastic. But if we begin a movement to go local, carry our own vessel or cloth bag to buy daily groceries, then plastic use will recede. Hope that helps.

I believe what our grand parents were more eco friendly and sustainable then us, but in the race of looking fancy we never got the idea behind what they were doing. As our take, we cannot directly stop 100% consumption but yes what we are trying is: 1). Use cotton or other cloth bags for buying fruits , vegetables instead of poly bags from vendors. 2). Take milk/chaach in steel containers instead of packed ones or in polythene 3). We keep atleast one 5lit can for oil once's it got consumed we get it refilled instead of buying new one. Once it's over used, we try to use it as a flower pot in our terrace garden. I grow flowers, pudina kind of things to keep environment around me green and not need to buy few things most of time from market. 4). Similarly for other containers also 5). Not purchasing fancy buckets which seems to broke early as comparison to paints bucket and you would need to buy again n more waste(sometimes sustainable is more important than going fancy). 6). We mostly use steel dishes at home instead of plastics/fibers. 7). Carry your own steel ka dibba while travelling for food. And water bottle refill if needed. Avoid buying plastics bottles s much as possible. 8). Drink local juices instead of fancy cold drinks/soda drinks. 9). If you can buy containers like steel or glass or other eco friendly alternative for once buy them and reuse it. Instead of buying plastic ones everytime for daily consumption things. 10). And yes please grow plants around you. Feed lil birds as it's too hot these days. 11). Never put anything hot in plastic container , don't even use it to cover that as a lid. Avoid using plastic bottle for drinking water.
we already have alternatives but it is upto us to choose. Himalayan rock salt comes from mountains which is not just safer but also contains lots of trace minerals which is good for our health. clothes can be chosen wisely by opting fabrics made from natural plant based fibers only like cotton, jute, banana fiber, pineapple fiber, some grass varieties like reed ect. If experimented with, even corn husks and sugarcane waste can be converted to fabric. This will be a boon for farmers as even the waste from the farms after harvesting the crops can be used up instead of burning it off. there is no shortage of clay, steel, copper, brass, ceramic and glass utensils which can be used both for cooking and eating. Believe i or not I dont have a microwave at all. firstly it promotes eating reheated stale food, secondly the rays from the microwave are absolutely unhealthy. not having a microwave will encourage you to eat freshly cooked food. There are a lot of alternatives available. It may not be produced in large quantities for now but if we use and encourage it it can be produced largely on commercial level. The choice is for us to make A very conscious choice.

Try to avoid plastic as much as possible at personal level, without thinking " Mere akele ke karane se kya hoga" . And very initial step for doing something towards environment is do separation of dry waste and wet waste. So that dry waste we can thing for recycle .

Please listen to dr Khadar vali known as millets man of India. He is telling about micro plastic in our water, food etc. Please listen to him once. Millets are solutions for every problems.
Unfortunately there has been study's that reusing plastic is also been one source that is polluting the environment (air, water, soil). The re used plastic is more susceptible to degrade and release phthalates and micro plastic. The only way to remove plastic from our life's would be to not produce any more.
If we doesn't wake up now, We cannot imagine our future problems. It's better to avoid the plastic slowly by taking alternative steps which are said by Anuj Ramatri bro and stop using plastic.
Lotsof people suggesting use of rock salt or black Salt instead of comman salt due to plastic problem, But i have something to say , Black salt or rock salt can't be the substitute for common salt because 1) test , it's has chatpata test which we can't use for every dish , so it has limited use 2) making process, rock salts are prepared using high heated bhatti, which needs 24 hrs heat to prepare rock salt ..so it will increase the air pollution and contribute in global warming 3) rock salt can't be use on regular basis, i mean jitna common salt use hota ha utna use nhi kr sakte .. .. So common salt making companies can focus on processing things, to decrease the presence of micro plastic may be by using heat treatment or any other things.....
We intakes common salt for his test which enhances the flavour right , not specifically for minerals , common salt means NaCl .... And some iron content that's it , that's the only thing we need. Yaa, i agree some companies sell it by saying it has something extra like vitamin, minerals etc etc etc ... But as I said it's used and purpose is very clear , and as per i know companies refine it by eliminating impurities and harmful metals not essential ones ,
We have invented stainless steel bottle water purifier which can be alternative to bottled water. Any one can utilize available water taps and get purified water with our personal mobile water purifiers.

मुझे लगता है की हमे old culture अपनाना होगा 1) हमे मॉर्निंग मैं ब्रश कोयले /नीम की काडी /या फिर सिंधा नमक वोर निंबु का उपयोग करना चाहिए ताकी ब्रश का प्लास्टिक ऑर ठूथपेस्ट का प्लास्टिक कम होगा 2) चाय नहि पिणा चाहिए इस्के बजाये लेमन ग्रास टी पिना चाहिए सेहत भी अच्छी ऑर चाय का प्लास्टिक भी कम होगा 3) सब्जी मैं घरपर ताजे मासालो का प्रयोग करना चाहिए 4) हमे बर्तन भी मिट्टी के प्रयोग करणे चाहिए /लकडी का बेलन/मिट्टीका 🍳 pan use करना चाहिए तेल भी कचे घाने पर बनाके उपयोग करना चाहिए5) बर्तन घिसने के लिये natural चीजो का प्रयोग करना चाहिए जैसे घासणी की जगाह नारियल के रेशो वोर हिंग निंबू का बालू का प्रयोग करना चाहिए6) स्नान के लिये पंचगव्य साबून /या बेसन /मुलतानी मिटी/निम्बु/रिठा /शिकाकाईetc का उपयोग करना चाहिए। 7) कपडे भी हमे शीप के वूलेन या कॉटन के कपडे प्रयोग करना चाहिए। 8) हमे घर का प्लॅस्टिक कबाडेवाले को बेच के मिट्टी या कांच के बरतन लाने चाहिए .g) हमे पेड भी मिट्टी के गमले मैं लगणे चाहीये.10)प्लास्टिक वॉटर बाटल्स की जगह मिट्टी या बाम्बू की बोत्तलस् का use करना चाहिए।12) सामान खरिदने के लिये कोटन बॅग्स या बांस की बॅग्स/जुट की बॅग्स इन्का इस्टमाल करना चाहिए।13) पिने का पाणी घडे मैं /तांबा के टँकी का उपयोग करना चाहिए 14) प्लॅस्टिक काWaste कम करना होगा .

For salt pointer you haven't mention we can use rock salt but at last it is so messed up if air has plastic then rock salt has no option
Try to avoid plastic as much as possible at personal level, without thinking " Mere akele ke karane se kya hoga" . And very initial step for doing something towards environment is do separation of dry waste and wet waste. So that dry waste we can thing for recycle .

Unfortunately there has been study's that reusing plastic is also been one source that is polluting the environment (air, water, soil). The re used plastic is more susceptible to degrade and release phthalates and micro plastic. The only way to remove plastic from our life's would be to not produce any more.

In our childhood we saw our parents carry marketing bags andclay jugs to store or carry water.So those days this problem was unheard of
Lotsof people suggesting use of rock salt or black Salt instead of comman salt due to plastic problem,
But i have something to say ,
Black salt or rock salt can't be the substitute for common salt because
1) test , it's has chatpata test which we can't use for every dish , so it has limited use
2) making process, rock salts are prepared using high heated bhatti, which needs 24 hrs heat to prepare rock salt ..so it will increase the air pollution and contribute in global warming
3) rock salt can't be use on regular basis, i mean jitna common salt use hota ha utna use nhi kr sakte ..

So common salt making companies can focus on processing things, to decrease the presence of micro plastic may be by using heat treatment or any other things.....
You are true but rock/black salt contains 83 more minerals than common sea salt and common salt is refined using chamicals.
We intakes common salt for his test which enhances the flavour right , not specifically for minerals , common salt means NaCl .... And some iron content that's it , that's the only thing we need.
Yaa, i agree some companies sell it by saying it has something extra like vitamin, minerals etc etc etc ...
