Later Macron and Xi Jinping give closing speeches at the Franco-Chinese business meeting.
Afterwards Macron holds a state dinner in the honor of Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Elysee presidential palace.
The state visit to France marks the 60th birthday of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Chinese President Xi Jinping said that Europe was a "priority" of Beijing's foreign policy during a visit to Paris. Meanwhile, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen accused China of "market distortion."
Meanwhile, Macron told Xi that it was important for the EU and China to coordinate on "major crises" such as Ukraine and the Middle East. He also stressed for "fair rules for all" in Europe-China trade.
