He’s not leaving. If fact, it wouldn’t shock me if the Commanders have a contingency plan to make him head coach in the distant future.

JP and B Mitch have been like therapists over the years along with a few of their colleagues, and now all of a sudden the abusive relationship with Snyder ended, and all those years of therapy paid off way faster than the manual said it should. I could write a book as a fan since 71, I know I need to just enjoy and appreciate it as a fanatic bystander. JD5 seems like a nice guy, what a surreal gift for the DMV. Thanks for the enjoyable interview.

I watched Chase Daniel's breakdown on Jayden pre-draft, and it sold me on him.

To my eyes, "aloof" isn't quite it.
JD appears to be calming himself with intention.
    And: gotta love The Athletic!

Fans were disappointed by the DQ hire, AT FIRST. I honestly believe all the pictures of him in Cowboys gear contributed greatly. We were won over by the end of training camp, if not earlier.

Fans also wanted to build around Howell and said the trade for Lattimore was a bad deal... I'm glad AP is in charge instead of these fools

@ Bet! Fans are always going to have opinions and feelings, that’s the fun of sports! How lame would sports be if we all just sat around and never talked about them? Arguing and playing armchair GM makes sports fun, as long as it remains within reason (which it usually doesn’t). I was disappointed by the DQ hire at first but after his first presser I was all in!

I’ll be honest, I was one of them. At the time it felt like we were saying we will take what we can get, like we were settling. I’m so glad I was wrong, Dan is the perfect man for the job.

HTTR!! Old fan of 48yrs! Seen theisman as a kid! Rypen and williams as an older kid win the big game!! And then nothing for 30 some odd years to be excited about! Glimpses here and there.. but im stoked about this year! Im surprised not many have said it.! But the last time i was this excited was the year RG3 was drafted.. had a great season going even after kurt took over after RG3 got hurt!

The Giants game around the 2 quarter Jayden got the wind knocked out of him & missed a play almost a welcome to NFL moment cause after that like JP said everything just clicked for him, the game slowed down afterthat big hit he took vs Giants the rest is history

The cabinet wasn’t completely empty when the new regime took over, so when coach Quinn called it a recalibration instead of a rebuild he knew exactly what he was saying. Coach Rivera couldn’t get the Quarterback and linebacker positions figured out and in my opinion that was the team’s Achilles heel. This new regime accessed the situation brilliantly and made the correct draft and free agent choices and are now reaping the benefits of those decisions. Let’s go Commanders !!

  • @samuelanderson8519

In the first game the Commanders defense contained Barkley for the first 3 quarters. In second game the defense contained him in the 2nd half. The defense needs to combine the two halves.

Just make sure they draft o Line improvement. two pipehitter tackles Will give JD that much extra time to exploit or be able to run. Def needing to prevent the pass will make any RB that much better.

The good news is that historically washington either enters playoff and loses quickly... or that win it all. The fact that they are in championship game means they most likely going to win.

He is aloof. I noticed that at LSU. He’s simply processing everything that’s going on. He’s a mental QB like Joe Montana.

  • @washingtoncommandcenter5541

Counter to the Ben Johnson turning down Washington narrative, is the story that on the way to interview 2, Ben Johnson said he wanted to keep and build around Sam Howell instead of drafting a QB which was a sticking point that led to the interview being canceled. To support this, ask yourself If there were only 32 jobs in the world for you to get, would you openly insult the owner of ANY of them, UNLESS you knew they didn't want you and you didn't have a chance to go there anyway?

  • @sisodia21
    @sisodia21 10 днів тому +1

I think Chase Daniel is confused by what aloof means…
Aloof - not friendly or forthcoming; cool and distant.
"they were courteous but faintly aloof"

JD5 is a quiet assassin and the two teams he destroyed were Chicago and Hail Marry killing the fan's hope and the team's downfall. Then the Lions fans and the team. I have seen Lions fans crying so many cursing each other. The coaches are jumping ship Ben Johnson's signed with the Bears and other coaches are moving on. So many good coaches leaving on the Lions teams. With the hurt the Lions team is going through the coach as strong as he is broke down crying at the podium outcome of the loss.

Basically they want people who play games for a living to look like they don't care. Thats why they, no me, loved Barry's personality. Unlike Jayden though Barry really didn't care.
