Galini Sea View hotel review - Vacation trip to Crete / kreta in Greece July 2022

We had a very good vacation in this hotel - We were in room 2305.
We were very possitive about this hotel, it was nice and the staff was friendly, smiling, and the room were fine and clean, the food was nice and varied, and there was lots of desserts - all kinds of Cake, Baklava and icecream.
1. Galini sea view, have a nice beachbar with a pool, and there is all incl to.
Drinks, Coffee, slush ice, toast, popcorn
chips/pommes frites, water melon, and so on, very nice.
The lady cooking there, have great humor, and kinda just brings you in a good mood while waiting. ( depends on you of course, if you just stares at your feet while waiting you wont get it.
2. If you want to play table tennis in the hotel Galini, bring your own ball. If you like pro Bats , bring them to. You can allso buy balls in the first supermarked on the mainstreet.
( They did not have ping pong balls in the reception all week )
3. The main pool in Galini is open to late night, and you may dive in head first, but note,
it is not so deep though. There is no lifeguard around the pool.
4. The Cola in the Galini hotel restaurant is not so good, so go with they`r version of Fanta, maybe put a little water in it. Just ask for Fanta.
Do try the cola and after, then leave a comment here about what you think
5.In the Morning - If you want some extra milk for your coffee in the Galini restaurant, you should try the milk at the cereal breakfirst table, it's a little more creamy 😋

1.If you want a very good swimming pool 3,5m deep, clear water, and not crowded, in a lovely place, then go to -

You can walk 4km, or go with bus -
After 13.00 only adults, so go early, if you are under 18 years old.
It is a beach bar so order drinks. CocaCola comes with water on the side, nice -
We had the clubsandwich ( enough for two ) and two colas for 15 euros euro.
Very Nice place, when you just want more space and a very good pool.

2. If you do not have a car -Then go to the reception and get the time table for the bus. The fare is for two persons one way 3.20euro.
Go to platanias, Chania, Kolimvári, or to kissamos and catch a boat to Balos beach - easy peasy - Nice places
3. You can easely, learn a few lines in greeck, like. How are you - Ti Kaneis - and if your been asked, then answer im fine thank you - Kala, efharisto - and do it for more smiles :-)
4. you can use visa allmost everywhere - But do bring some cash and do change the money from home. Often it is free to change in your own bank.

Ps. if you think the hill to the hotel is steep, then just remember all the dessert you ate for dinner, and it will become must easier to climb.
