Pro tip with this tank: set you aight distance control as high as you can. While it won’t be noticeable from the sight, it will elevate the angle of the launcher while keeping the sight level. This gives you insane gun depression, well over -20°, and you can shoot hull down without exposing anything but your launcher. Since the launcher won’t ammorack you if destroyed, you’re completely invulnerable and extreme hard to spot.
Get a nuke with it on Sweden, and the fact it can fires on the move is the biggest advantage on urban maps. Paired with the Shturm-s and you can have quite a formidable ATGM carrier duo!

It is a radio command guided missile, it can fire on the move because it is not trailing a wire that might snag and break on something. The gun tube fired Soviet ATGMs should be able to be fired on the move too because they are laser beam riding missiles that don't drag wires either. It is not Russian bias.... it is western sour grapes... the Soviets had some really good stuff.
Hey Bo, keep an eye out for KV-2's when you're driving the IT-1! I discovered (much to my glee) that the KV-2's HE will blast downwards into the crew and instantly kill the tank if you hit the rocket rack with it 🤣😈

The weird thing is that does not matter how many times u shoot the ATGM on the top of this "thing" u can't detonate it (at least no luck for me, trying it), unlike on other ATGM carriers, it just goes "black". Alos no luck getting those pillows...
I quit war thunder as the spawn camping became so aids i had to stop playing the fact my team will have 2 caps but the enemy will have 1 cap and tbey just rush spawn instead of attacking B, id literally consider spawn camping as passive play as they are always just camping watching spawn and not contributing to they're team properly, i always figured a way to stop spawn camping would be that either spawn should have the same thing you get at the edge of the map return to battle or whatever or even anti tank mines that only affect the enemy team if they rush your spawn.
I don't know who had better timing Bo shooting that missile or that meteor flying low for a bombing run either way the meteor player was probably smacking his keyboard
That is a weird little toy. With everything Russian already having missiles (amazing that) I never even look at the TD line beyond the SU 85. Might have to revisit that decision.
Next time try out also the Shturm-S, it's really an enjoyable ATGM carrier and very versitale with the tandem charge and proxy missiles (works fine against both planes and helis, but i highly suggest to focus on the second, planes can sometimes evade the missile even from the front...)
@@yamatokurusaki5790 he already used it, finding out the wiesel could be enter the wood pillboxes near B of Carpathians and looking into the southern spawn. Still it's quite the perfect ambush ATGM carrier, but the TOW being an ammo rack reduce by a lot the ability to stay in hull down.

This thing is insane for 8.3 and I'm pretty sure that it's the best armored missile carrier.
