Pocket Band now has a new home in New York City! We're hosting VGM+ (vgm and more) jazz jam sessions at Black Cat LES every 1st Sunday of the month. If you're a musician, bring your axe, and if you're not a musician, bring your DS, Switch, or your good vibes! Everyone is welcome. Original Pokemon is composed to really, really make the most of chip sound, so it often feels like it's lacking something when it's arranged for traditional instruments. But they hit it out of the park. So good.
00:10 I just entered the Pokemon Center, staring at Nurse Joy. But it feels like my whole party and my sanity were already healed up from hearing the theme alone.
The second drummer came in and i clicked the like button so fast because he was so good lol damn

This is a lovely set guys! I know y'all are big fans of of JRPGs and Jazz, so i have to recommend xenoblade 2 and the DLC for it, Torna: the golden country. specifically Torna has a lot of Jazz with various rhythms and lots of instruments that crossover with yours to solo with. Check the battle theme for Torna here to get an idea of what kind of sound it uses, IMO it's fantastic!
