Laura Anderson she going through both loops (looking at the completed circles, notice smooth it looks....if she only went through one loop there would be a ridge). Hope this helps.

These are floral wires. Usually available easily in craft stores. Comes in thicknes 0.2 to 0.5 mm. You can get whichever is available.
