Yamaha EZ-EG / EX5 Demo II

There are a lot of guitar sounds on the EX5 so I tried to create something with that. The sounds are mostly synth- or clean guitar sounds routed through the amp simulator, which sounds quite nice imo.

Is this instrument hard to play? I play guitar well and was looking at this for a midi controller you rock guitar style

It's easy to play, but if you want a word of advice, the ez-AG is better. It lacks the pitch bend but the "strings" are actual strings instead rigid metal sticks. It also has more LEDs which es better for learning.

Hi and thanks for watching! Yes. It has MIDI IN/OUT. If possible, get the black one which looks like an acoustic guitar - it has better (much more precise) "strings".

How is this guitar at controlling VL synthesis

I think there are better controllers for that, as VL is monophonic (at least on this synth), e.g. breath controllers are more suited.

Hi, thanks for watching. It's made from wood, while the "fretboard" is plastic. If you already own a guitar, I'd say nowadays the Fishman Triple Play Connect is better for capturing MIDI than this.
