My biggest tip in bloxburg is to plan out your colours beforehand. Play around with the colour palettes and find colours that will work best for your build. I find it really difficult to randomly put colours, so I like planning my ideas out first!

Here's a tip to create a porch without advanced placement! (keep in mind, you need the basements gamepass for this). You are able to make the porch by going to the basement and adding a FLAT ROOF for a fully customizable porch. It might even be cheaper then a regular square as advanced placement can cause it to be quite pricey. In my opinion this also looks better then a regular porch as you are also able to add a glass roof (and customize it even further!).

Personally, If you have the gamepass (advanced placement) use the wood planks for the wall trims to put it under slanted roofs if you would like one there sure its not as good as the other things but you can add detail with basic shapes with hacks or transform tool.

If your going for realistic add a laundry room! If theres an empty room..ADD A LAUNDRY ROOM! The Laundry room makes houses seem so much better! Bedroom: Bedrooms..a bed, a dresser, an end table just call it a day and move on....NO NO NO! WE NEED TO ADD MORE TO A BEDROOM! ADD CARPETS, SHELVES, PICTURES, PLANTS, MAKE-UP, MIRRORS, DESK! THERES SO MUCH THINGS TO ADD TO A BEDROOM! Kitchen: Say you have only like 1k-3k left? Use the cheap items color them! Use kitchen things from your inventory! Don't have anything in your inventory? Use decorations! Candles, plants, island? Or a dining room! If you only use these Items: Kitchen Lite kettle - Kitchen lite Coffee maker - Kitchen Lite Toaster - Blender - Basic stove - Kitchen Lite Microwave! That will cost 1,215 and if you have 3k+ you can Possibly have 1,785 if you have 1k you'll need way more than only that you could work for 2k and get 3k so you don't lose that much! Dining rooms: Okay so you know you cant just add a table and chairs, color it and your done? You should add a cake stand or candles on the dining tables maybe some plants or pictures would help! If you spend like 20 minutes on a house and your not finished yet, maybe take a 10-15 minute break, if you spend too much time on it your eyes will be so sore after building the house! Now listen.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ADD COLOR TO YOUR BUILDS!!! Whenever I walk past someone who doesn't have their house colored when their finished it makes me rage!!! Speaking of coloring, for your exterior walls, don't use crazy colors like neon colors. don't use linen either! There may be actually good builds with linen, but if your going for like a realistic aesthetic do not use linen, but like don't use any crazy insane colors is my point. Also, I said don't make your house square, but also don't use so much curves and slants. it'll make the house too narrow. you won't be able to place like anything. Just an idea, maybe with these tips ( if they help at all ) maybe make houses following the seasons! Summer: Beach house Fall: Haunted house(??) Winter: Snowy winter cabin Spring: Just a normal spring family home. A few more tips! Try to make the colors and materials match with the aesthetic! For the colors if your going for a cabin maybe make it a very dark brown! If you have the color wheel you can make the dark brown yourself! for the Materials, if your doing a beach house use horizontal planks. If your doing a snowy winter cabin use logs. another tip with the lightings, using orange gives your room a warm feeling, me personally i use them in cabins or summer homes. you can also do this but a very lighter, subtle shade of orange.
I already know all of these building tips and I've been playing Bloxburg for 10 months Crazy Tip: When I was noob I hired my friend to build for me, I used to build with ovens next to each other so I learnt that! As soon as she finished building and teaching me to be pro, I was falling in love, Just because she taught / helped me be a better builder and show how to be a better builder now I'm better at building then her, and I only use her tips because your repeating her!! Be aware if you want a friend to help you build make sure it is someone you can really trust and you know in person, The lesson is to trust and you'll get somewhere in life, Hope it helped!!

Here’s how to use slanted roofs on mobile: (i totally get it if u don’t understand it’s pretty confusing) first off, place down the first 2 sides, that’s where the lower part part of the roof is gonna be. Then place the last 2, That’s where the the lifted part is gonna be. Hope this was helpful. it’s very hard to build on mobile, I would know because I’ve been playing Bloxburg on a mobile for my whole Bloxburg experience. If you are planning on getting Bloxburg on mobile remember that: when placing, if you let go it will place auto, don’t delete your starter house unless you have over 15K, watch tips on making houses (like these vids), remember not to give up because it’s kinda hard, if you see a very talented house remember they have been playing for a very long time. 1:12 you its flexable, but if you arent doing a realistic build, walls for small houses can be a max of 5, medium 7, big 9, it goes up in twos, i havent started a channel yet but i will, and for realistic builds its unlimited; just dont make a box lol! great tips btw!
One tip for the roof is to add trims to the edge of the roof. It makes the house look realistic. Also, when you're on a tight budget, especially in appliances- use the cheaper options and recolor and texture them. It works for all items, and even though it may seem like the expensive items are better, they aren't good for decoration but instead for activities. User: NoYes4292

tip for lights; these are some colours you can use; flint,linen,huricane gray a dark orange! these are some better to avoid; white basically any light colours it'll make your house seem weird, as in real life the lights always give off a natueral colour
A tip I like is to use different colors for the exterior walls like brick on the first story and and planks or something on the second also helpful video ty
ANOTHER TIP if you have basements AND advanced placement then you can make a little dent with the basic blocks resize it and my personal fav to put there is a living room❤
This is a popular tip for beginners, and other builders. When you are doing exterior [garden] there are limited plants. So my advice is, when you finish the inside of your house or at least what you want- get a clear basic shape [square] and resize it to a thin beam. Then go to decorations and search up "decal", you'll want to use the double sided decal. Put the decal on the basic shape and pick a plant [with no background] and duplicate it to the next side. So if I put the first decal on the west side, then put the 2nd decal on the south or north side. Basically they have to be on the next side over. And there you go, you have a custom plant. tip for lights; these are some colours you can use; flint,linen,huricane gray a dark orange! these are some better to avoid; white basically any light colours it'll make your house seem weird, as in real life the lights always give off a natueral colour

ANOTHER TIP if you have basements AND advanced placement then you can make a little dent with the basic blocks resize it and my personal fav to put there is a living room❤
For cozy lighting you can use nougat or brown
This is a popular tip for beginners, and other builders.
When you are doing exterior [garden] there are limited plants. So my advice is, when you finish the inside of your house or at least what you want- get a clear basic shape [square] and resize it to a thin beam. Then go to decorations and search up "decal", you'll want to use the double sided decal. Put the decal on the basic shape and pick a plant [with no background] and duplicate it to the next side. So if I put the first decal on the west side, then put the 2nd decal on the south or north side. Basically they have to be on the next side over. And there you go, you have a custom plant. I'll upload more tips later!
