In his presentation, Mr. Ames meticulously dissects the contentious issue surrounding Sabbath observance within Christianity, offering a comprehensive examination that delves into its biblical roots, historical evolution, and contemporary relevance. He initiates the discourse by acknowledging the global tapestry of holiday celebrations, encompassing both secular and religious traditions, before pivoting to address the pivotal Sabbath controversy that has persisted throughout the annals of Christian history.
Anchoring his discourse in Acts 13:42-44, Mr. Ames unveils a foundational biblical passage illustrating the early Christian adherence to Sabbath observance. Drawing on this historical precedent, he meticulously traces the trajectory of Sabbath worship's transformation into Sunday worship, spotlighting key figures such as Tertullian and Emperor Constantine, whose advocacy played pivotal roles in popularizing Sunday as a day of rest and worship.
However, amidst this historical transition, Mr. Ames deftly interweaves an illuminating exploration of the New Testament's steadfast affirmation of Sabbath observance. He navigates through Hebrews 4:8-10, skillfully articulating the Sabbath's symbolic significance as a harbinger of rest and salvation in Christ. Moreover, he underscores the resilience of Sabbath-keeping communities across epochs of persecution, exemplified by the Sabbatarian Church in Rhode Island, serving as beacons of unwavering fidelity to biblical precepts.
In his elucidation of theological underpinnings, Mr. Ames contends that Sabbath observance epitomizes a faithful adherence to God's commandments, diametrically opposed to the reliance on tradition and ecclesiastical authority to justify Sunday worship. Marshaling insights from eminent Catholic theologians and Protestant luminaries, he compellingly argues for the scriptural dearth underpinning Sunday observance, underscoring the imperative for a return to biblical veracity in matters of faith and practice.
Throughout his discourse, Mr. Ames adeptly invokes the exemplar of Jesus and the apostles, who steadfastly upheld Sabbath observance and imparted their adherence to subsequent generations. In conclusion, he exhorts viewers to introspectively contemplate the import of Sabbath observance in their spiritual journey, extending an invitation to engage with the wealth of resources offered by Tomorrow's World as they navigate this perennial theological conundrum.

The TRUTH is the TRUTH, from Sunday to the Sabbath
I’m a longtime Sabbath day keeper and the Holydays of the year from Georgia.
Sabbath day rest is spiritual today, we rest in Christ, or we enter into God's rest, by faith. So since we are not of the law of sin and death, where a Sabbath day rest is required, we are taught in the Bible to, labor not to be rich, or to be careful for nothing. We are taught not to forsake the assembly of ourselves together. Christ offers complete freedom from the law of sin and death. That's why so man Jews had a problem with His teachings. They said Jesus was trying to get them to forsake the law of Moses. No more works of righteousness to earn any kind of good standing with God. Today you follow the new testament covenant, and the convictions of the holy Spirit.

Think about the lame man Yeshua healed on the sabbath day and the pharisees accused Him because He told the man to carry his bed. (That bed probably had more than a cow's mouthful of straw in it.) Also the disciples eating grain while walking thru a field on the sabbath probably ate a quantity bigger than the size of a dried fig…Torah does not have such strict rules but the talmud does.
The following is an excerpt from the Babylonian Talmud…
MISHNA IV.: It is forbidden to carry about chopped straw in quantities of a cow's mouthful, stalks in quantities of a camel's mouthful, stubble in quantities of a lamb's mouthful, herbs in quantities of a kid's mouthful, leek and onion leaves, if fresh, equal in size to a dried fig, and if dry in quantities of a kid's mouthful. The different kinds of fodder are, however, not to be counted together, as the prescribed quantities are not equal for all. GEMARA: "Chopped straw." What kind? Said R. Jehudah: "Pease stalks." When Rabhin came to Babylon he said thus: There is no diversity of opinion concerning the carrying out of straw in quantities of a cow's mouthful for a camel, as all agree that in such a case one is liable; the point of their differing is concerning the carrying out of stalks (which is not fit food for a cow) in quantities of a cow's mouthful for a cow. R. Johanan frees him, as he holds that unfit food cannot be regarded as nutrition; and Resh Lakish makes him liable, as he holds that even such is considered nutrition. "Stubble in quantities of a lamb's mouthful." But does not a Boraitha state "the size of a dried fig"? Both quantities are equal. "Leek and onion leaves, if fresh," etc. Said R. Jossi b. Hanina: Inferior food is not to be counted in with superior (in order to make out the prescribed quantity). Superior food, however, may be counted with the inferior (in order to complete the prescribed quantity). MISHNA V.: The carrying out of an article of food the size of a dried fig makes one liable. And the different kinds of them are to be counted together, for the prescribed quantity is the same for all kinds, with the exception of husks, kernels, and stalks; likewise bran, both coarse and fine. R. Jehudah says that the husks of lentils are not excepted, because they are boiled with the lentils and are counted in the same (as food). GEMARA: "Except bran," etc. Is not fine as well as coarse bran to be counted in (the same as food)? Is there not a Mishna concerning the separation of the first dough, that one is bound to separate the first dough made of flour mixed with its fine or coarse bran? Answered Abayi: "This is no contradiction. Poor people only generally use such mixed flour (when Sabbath is concerned something possessing real value is always spoken of)." p. 142 "The husks of lentils are not excepted," etc. Husks of lentils only, and not of beans? Did not a Boraitha state that R. Jehudah said, "husks of beans and lentils"? This presents no difficulty. The Mishna refers to husks of new lentils and the Boraitha refers to old lentils and beans. And why not old ones? Said R. Abuhu: Because they (the husks of lentils and beans) are black and when dished up look like flies in a bowl (they are not eaten with the food and therefore are not counted in). Foot
These are the types of laws our Messiah spoke against, NOT the law of Moses. Wouldn't He be a hypocrite if He taught against the YHVH's Law after saying:
Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Actually there are 600+ commandments, laws, and regulations. Most are adaptations or variations of the Law Codes of Hammurabi (Babylon).
@@jstube36 I'm talking about the Ten Commandments in the Holy Bible. Idk anything about the other book you're talking about.
@@Nevermindyou7 Yes and as I said there was a lot more than just ten commandments in the Bible. Hammurabi was a King in Ancient Babylon from about 1790-1750 BCE. His Law Codes are considered the model of many such codes of laws in the region. Ancient Mesopotamia is considered the Cradle of Civilization. Many of it's customs and practices were brought to other lands. Ideas were traded among peddlers also. The 600 + Commandments in the Hebrew Scriptures were just one of many such codes of conduct that were likely modeled after Hammurabi's Law codes.
@@jstube36 oh. Ok. I'm just talking about the Ten Commandments from The Eternal God. That's what I believe in
@@Nevermindyou7 It's still quite a debate as to who actually wrote and communicated those "Ten Commandments". Also there were multiple versions of that set. For example, one of the original ten was replaced with "Do not boil a goat in it's moter's milk". I guess Moses decided to go with the less creepy aet of ten

Thank you for your ministry, I"m going to try again to ask a question/questions without deleting them.
Not mentioning any names, over the years I have watched attended a few revivals, tent meetings and large gatherings of believers on Sundays. I've seen and heard a few great speakers a couple had filled large arenas. Millions of people have given their lives to Jesus and excepted Him ,and the very next Sunday be in church worshipping.
A few weeks ago I was watching a "man of GOD" teaching in an arena on the Ten Commandments. He touched on Worshiping God ,Not having any false idols, loving your neighbor etc. Then I noticed, it was Sunday! I started asking myself what happened to the Sabbath? I've been following Tomorrow's world for probably five years now, I have most of your booklets , taken numerous. notes, tested everything you teach to the word and downloaded many of your videos .
Now to this subject the Sabbath if the Saturday is the Sabbath and I know it is. What happens to all the ones that are not following God's teaching? What happens to all the souls that has excepted Jesus and are in church every Sunday after being at the ball fields and Saturday? I'm not trying to judge, I know God is not the author of confusion, I know each and every one that comes to Jesus has a walk and that God works with them individually . Who is right? will the baptist church, the pentecostal church, the methodist church ,and every church that claims the word of God be taken up into the rapture ? I only use this term to get my point across. OR when YAHWEH says to YESHUA it's time millions upon millions are going to be so devastated when YESHUA says depart from me you workers of iniquity.
I'm not a good writer this may not make since , those that read this may say what? When your teaching and the teachings of a couple other ministries opened up my eyes and ears, when I learnt GOD had a name YAHWEH and it wasn't THE LORD, GOD, LORD, Lord . When Jesus became YESHUA, THE LIVING WORD. I felt so blessed I started seeing, hearing in a way I never have before. Then I became angry why did it take so long, why did /i sit in all those sunday meetings teachings and listen and not learn about the Sabbath. Theres a old saying "the buck stops here" ....where does the buck stop? in the end who is responsible? folks that might read this, please don't get offended or rip me to bad. I know who I believe in I'm not trying to judge, I'm angry that so many lies have been going on for so long and I pray every one find out the truth.
I guess I need to take a writing course?
Satan deceives the whole world.
The great white throne judgement will be where those lost souls will hear the truth and be able to repent.
I'm going to add something to this. If someone was to ask me do I observe the Sabbath? I try, no-one in my family is a believer, I'm expected to do the normal things a person does on saturday. My heart hurts when I don't do what i know I should be doing. There's no place to go on the sabbath around me and truly no-one listens. So I talk to ABBA and ask for forgiveness and to cleanse me with His Spirit and repent and ask YESHUA to be my mediator. ONE day I will Do all that is expected of me.
You write just fine brother! Better than most these days in fact. God has blessed you with knowledge and understanding seeing as you know the truth of the sabbath day because it will be the final deception to worship on the false sabbath Sun-day. As for those who worship on Sun-day now, they are not all lost and there are many in all denominations that truly love the Lord Yeshua and Father YHWH. I believe you will be blessed further in understanding by some gifted teachers I will list here. Please take the time to look the up here on UA-cam. May YHWH bless you and keep you!

The Church in the Bible was always seen coming together on the first day of the week. Christian don't view the first day of the week as a Sabbath. A Sabbath day rest is in Christ today, but will be in place during His kingdom age reign. The whole world will be required to rest on the Sabbath.
@contendingforthefaith9897 no where does the Messianic writings say the " church was always seen meeting on the first day of the week" .
@@contendingforthefaith9897 you totally lost me since the Sabbath is the 7th day and was followed till the church said that they would not Judaize Christianity.
@DanHutchings-xx7ug OK, you totally lost me, what Church are you reference too, the one in the Bible, or Constantine Church? THE Sabbath rest is fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ today. During the thousand year reign of Jesus Christ, the Sabbath rest and other Jewish feast and holy days, will be reestablished during that time.
@@contendingforthefaith9897 Which Church do they talk about in the Bible? There are over 45,000 Christian denominations in religion which took hold and gained power in the 4th century which was first known as the Church which became know as the Roman Catholic Church. When one studies this history one sees it was man and their Christian doctrine that changed the Sabbath. No where in scripture does it say that either God or Jesus did away with the Sabbath where in fact both Old and New Testament points to God's Law and the keeping of the Commandments including the 4th Commandment. Yet Church doctrine has turned from it trying to use a scripture here or there and twisting it to make it sound like we are no longer required to follow what God put in stone and passed down for all of man kind to share with those that love Him.
The Church of God is found in those that trust and believe in Him and out of this love wish to be obedient to Him since He truly is the Father.

The Sabbath (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) is the Sabbath of the Lord God Almighty. Even in the new earth where there will be no night there, the 7th day Sabbath will still be kept. Please also read Isiah chapter 66. Maranatha!
All those saved will obey the the teaching of the Sabbath. It's best to privately and quietly resolve to do it now, individually, and wait for Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ, to enforce it righteously. Inbuilt within the Commandments of God is a science. We are living that science if we obey those laws. Our spirit is the indestructible part of us and our Deity use our spirit as a repair mechanism rather than a guaranteed force for our destruction.
Galatians 5:3-7
[3]For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
[4]Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
[5]For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
[6]For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
[7]Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
Are you trying to say something ?
Verse 4 is the crux of the matter. Keeping the law never justified anyone, old or new testaments. Find me one person who was ever said to be justified by keeping the law, please. Every Old Testament saint was justified by faith, period. And every saint, old or new testaments, proves their love of God by keeping the commandments, John 14:15. If a man THINKS he is justified by keeping the law, he must keep it perfectly - which no man except Christ Jesus has ever been able to do. That’s the passage you referenced.
It just so happens that I read Acts chapter 13 this morning 5/22/2024.
Strange that you skipped past verse 39.
You have to understand what it means to believe. When a young man asked Christ "What shall I do to have eternal life?" Christ answered "Keep the commandments."
Protestant Suday keeping churches tell others that the reason they worship on Sunday , is because Christ was resurrected on Sunday morning . Which is false . Christ was not resurrected Sunday morning . Another reason they don't keep the Sabbath is because they say Christ done away with the law . Which is false also . Another reason is they say they don't esteem one day over another day. Which is just an excuse to not Judaize . The 10 Commandments are Binding but they are spiritual . Christ was a Jew , and he is our example , and he kept the Sabbath and so did the Apostles . If you have not received the Holy spirit then you cannot enter into Gods Sabbath . The Sabbath is Gods Sabbath and Christs who is Lord of the Sabbath as he is God manifest in the flesh .

The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
3.) Acts 13:42. Why did Paul go into the Synagogue on the Jewish Sabbath day? Was it because Paul was an highly educated Jew, and he wanted to speak? Why where the gentiles in (V 42) begging the Jews outside of the synagogue, to speak the words to them the next Sabbath instead of going to their churches and listen to their pastors on the first day? Could it be because there wasn't any Christian churches and leaders established yet? The earliest Christians were Jewish, would they then be teaching the Gentiles Christians about Jewish customs? (V 44) On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. 45But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. See information in this paragraph.
4.) Paul’s preaching in the “synagogues and elsewhere” on the Sabbath was an attempt to win souls to Christ, he did not engage in corporate worship with the church. It was Paul’s “custom” to offer salvation first to the Jews, and then to the Greeks (cf. Acts 17:2; Romans 1:16). For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
my question is what Pual says about honoring one day or anothrr eating or not eating or not eating, don't feel it's salvation issue any longer
During the times of the Gentiles, the Sabbath day rest, is in the Lord Jesus, we rest in Him today. But the Sabbath day rest will be in place during the king age of the Lord Jesus Christ, the world will be required to rest on the Sabbath, with all praise and worship, soley going to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Did Christ say anything about the Sabbath when he died in the cross? ....Eli Eli....Sabbatani? Is this Aramaic for "Father, Father....this is the Sabbath!" Not sure.
Continued......after studying the language further.....thatani means forsaken in Aramaic or Hebrew. There Saba....means Sabbath. Could He (Jesus) had said....Father Father why have (they) forsaken the Sabbath? Eli Eli lema Sabathani? Lema means "why!" There might be a mistranslation here because the Greeks did the translation. Why would He ask...Father, Father why have you forsaken me. God would never forsaken His Son and Jesus knew that. Jesus was fulfilling prophecy and his concern was for the people not Himself. Something to think about.
No, he clearly said my God, my God why have you forsaken me. This has been universally accepted and confirmed by Bible translators
@@RickOnTheDrumsAlthough universally accepted by Bible scholars, my question is there is a mistranslation. Most people I ask do not know Hebrew or Aramaic. I have studied it and what Christ said on the cross does not match the language spoken. It is not clear and raises some questions.

@Rog1550 would you say that to a policeman, firefighter, or doctor who have to provide essential Services 24/7 365?
Truth is the word Christian and christianity came from the Roman church. Early believers were called Messianic believers. Cristo was used in Anioch ounce. It was Greek and meant latered oil. They used this for anointed. Never became christ, christian or christianity until Rome. Messianic community was what they were called or sect of the Nazariens. You will not find christ, christianity or christian in the original scriptures. Read Ephesians 2:13-22. We are part of the common l wealth of Israel. Blessings and Shalom in the mighty name of Yeshua Hah Mashiach our Lord and Savior.
Amen !
The word Christian is used in Acts and in 1st Peter

The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
7.) Tertullian (202 AD) is the first one who expressly mentions the Sunday rest... as tradition has taught us... on the day of the Lord's Resurrection... What tradition taught this and how old was that tradition? What did other writers say about this?
* The Didache
“But every Lord’s day . . . gather yourselves together and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure. But let no one that is at variance with his fellow come together with you, until they be reconciled, that your sacrifice may not be profaned” (Didache 14 [A.D. 70]).
*The Letter of Barnabas
“We keep the eighth day [Sunday] with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead” (Letter of Barnabas 15:6-8 [A.D. 74]).
*Ignatius of Antioch
“[T]hose who were brought up in the ancient order of things [i.e. Jews] have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord’s day, on which also our life has sprung up again by him and by his death” (Letter to the Magnesians 8 [A.D. 110])
*Justin Martyr
“But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God, having wrought a change in the darkness and matter, made the world; and Jesus Christ our Savior on the same day rose from the dead” (First Apology 67 [A.D. 155]).
*The Didascalia
“The apostles further appointed: On the first day of the week let there be service, and the reading of the holy scriptures, and the oblation [sacrifice of the Mass], because on the first day of the week [i.e., Sunday] our Lord rose from the place of the dead, and on the first day of the week he arose upon the world, and on the first day of the week he ascended up to heaven, and on the first day of the week he will appear at last with the angels of heaven” (Didascalia 2 [A.D. 225]).
*Origen
“Hence it is not possible that the [day of] rest after the Sabbath should have come into existence from the seventh [day] of our God. On the contrary, it is our Savior who, after the pattern of his own rest, caused us to be made in the likeness of his death, and hence also of his resurrection” (Commentary on John 2:28 [A.D. 229])
* ETC,.
Is it correct that the only way you & I enter Heaven is by placing our total trust in the death/burial/resurrection of Christ to justify/forgive/save us ?
Is it true that 1+_=4 ?
"If you love me you'll keep my commandments ". Isn't that simple ?
@@WayofYahushua exactly
@@WayofYahushua
Yes, exactly, and many other things.
People tend to focus on one thing and misunderstand that one thing because they aren't looking at a multitude of other things.
It does say to believe and confess that Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected.
It also says believe on His NAME ( everything He taught and stood for ) repent, get baptized, receive the holy Spirit, keep the commandments, produce fruit, do good works, and endure until the end.
It amazes me how people ignore 99% of what the Bible says because "it says this ", as if that one thing contradicts everything else.
@@WayofYahushua Where does Christ THROUGH Paul teach "KEEP COMMANDMENTS" or similar for you & I to enter Heaven ?
The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
5.) Acts: 20 Paul and the Apostles come together. A worship service? (V7) Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight. (V 8) There were many lamps in the upper room where they were gathered together. (After reviving the young man.) (V 11) Now when he had come up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till daybreak, he departed. Why wouldn't this be a considered a worship service? Because the details of the subject of discussion are not included?
The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
1.) The first question is, who was God speaking to when, through Moses, He gave the 10 Commandments and the Levitical Holy Feasts, was it the Jewish people, or the gentiles? Support would have to be provided for the Gentiles.
2.) The 4th commandment is the only one that is not repeated in the New Testament. T.W. stated in an article: 'Why is the Sabbath Commandment Not Repeated in the New Testament?' - ''The Sabbath commandment did not have to be repeated in the New Testament, simply because the people to whom Jesus Christ and the apostles preached would never have imagined that it needed to be repeated!'' Would Jesus and the Apostle also not imagine that the other 9 commandments would need to have been repeated a well?
Shalom to all. AMEN . Sharing, Christians say they keep the 10 commandments, but they are not. They keep 9 commandments they conveniently forget they are not keeping the 4th commandment. And *** GOD *** specifically n in clear words said, ........ ON THE ** SEVENTH DAY ** OF THE WEEK........
What did Yeshua say in Matthew 5: 17.... For **TRULY** I say unto you. Till heaven and earth pass away, ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN NO WISE PASS AWAY FROM THE LAW........, n we are wait for Yeshua's return. One GOD, One Messiah, One Law for Jews n Gentiles. Sorry no double standards.
Yeshua did say ** men ** shall not live by bread alone, but by VERY, VERY Word that proceeds from the Mouth of GOD. I take it that means the commandments also.
Amen !
The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
8.) Did Constantine say that? Yes and No. At 6:41, the T.W. host cites part of Constantine Edict. Why was part of it left out? Here is what T.W. conveniently left out. There was no day of rest restrictions on the people who were doing farming work on Sundays, which incidentally, made up the great majority of the population.
Tertullian did cite that Sunday rest came from tradition, ( from old writer from the 1st century) but would the host please show an example where Constantine made the same statement?
and the first man to break GOD`s law ? JESUS CHRIST ! follow him , not man !
Q: is this a seventh day adventist channel??
No
It it speaking the truth don't worry about denominations
Same doctrines just plagiarized.
I am lazy....I take both days off
Christ condense the Ten Commandments into two. To love God and to love your enemy as yourself. We are not saved by the law but by grace.
Hmm Ive heard this before so i guess it would be ok to go to church on Sunday but rest and worship God on Saturday ?
Don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't go to church on Sunday or any other day. We are just to keep the Shabbat Holy.
Jesus was not sent but to the house of Israel!🤔
The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
Note: The Host of this video says Paul's Antioch Synagogue experience was YEARS after Jesus's death. How many years? Paul lived from 5 to 64 AD. Jesus died around 29 to 33 AD, going by the most popular theories. That means Saul/Paul would have been alive when Jesus lived. Paul's conversion can be dated to 31-36 AD. Therefore, would not those years refer to a relatively short period of time where the vast majority of Christians are Jews and a Gentile system of worship would not have yet been established?
Is this a Seventh Day Adventist production?
No
It is speaking the truth don't worry about denominations
this law saved no one .... by bye god bless
If Nisan 1 is called the "first day of the new year" which changes every new year, then how can Saturday be the 7th day every year? I totally disagree that Saturday is the 7th day but that the 7th day is the 7th day; therefore, the 7th day changes every year.
This year Nisan 1 was on April 8. Add 7 days, then you get the Sabbath day for 2024. It's that simple
GOD is simple. It is man that confuses everything..
Study the Zadok calender and don't make assumptions basis on erroneous nonsense.
The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
10.) Mark 2 Jesus said, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath." This statement was in response to the accusation from the Jewish Pharisees that His disciples were breaking the law regarding resting on the Sabbath when they walked by some fields and plucked heads of grain.
No, Jesus did not say the Sabbath was made for the Jews, but could that be for the reason that Jesus (Jewish) was responding to the people (Jewish) about their accusations about His disciples (Jewish)
There are no recordings in the scriptures that God commanded those outside of Israel to observe a 7th Day Sabbath, nor of Him punishing those people outside of Israel for not observing the 7th Day Sabbath. No recording before Moses suggest that a 7th day Sabbath was being kept by the Hebrews.
But how does the Sabbath begin at sunset? This is not what the Bible teaches. Genesis 1:5 clearly shows God created day first then night and both day and night combined make one day (24 hours). The pattern throughout the creation week is God working during the day to create then the next morning after evening, its a new day. The day begins in the morning at sunrise not at sunset when we are retiring to sleep.
On the 7th day God rested from creating (work) from the morning of the 7th day, the daylight portion of the 7th day, hence Sabbath day (light) i.e the 12 hours of the day. Even Christ confirms in John 9:4 that work is during the day and not at night.
The 4th Commandment. Interesting observations:
6.) Acts 18 Again, Paul is in the Synagogue preaching to Jews and Gentiles because Christianity is in its infancy and there isn't a system of Gentile worship established yet?
The 4th commandment does not mention church attendance. That is a separate issue. One can keep the Sabbath without attending church, or keep it in addition to attending church on any day.
If one could’ve kept the Sabbath without going to Sabbath services, then no one would’ve been taught by Christ and the Apostles in the synagogues on the Sabbath.
Luke 4:16 - So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read
Acts 13:42 - So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.
Acts 17:2 - Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures
See Leviticus 23:3 for God's instruction on the Sabbath. Rest and holy convocation.
Jesus is the Sabbath rest .. He completed all of salvation on the cross. Keeping old covenant laws for the Jews don't save anybody, they were a foreshadowing of what Jesus came to accomplish. All who follow the law are under a curse, because no one can keep the law, Moses couldn't even do it. . Read your Bible for your self and stop believing man made rules that look good on the outside but cant regenerate the heart
FALSE TEACHER ! The 10 commandments were NEVER given to Gentiles, only to Jews. Jesus never instructed Gentiles to do anything. He was only speaking to Jews. Romans 15:8 and Mat 10:5
Absolute nonsense.
Really ? So the scriptures are absolute nonsense ?
@user-ok1er1sh8j your rhetoric is nonsense.
My rhetoric is backed up with scripture. Yours is not. Show me a verse that says the law was also given to Gentiles.
A look at Deut 5:1-5 will tell you that the “10 Words” were also called the “Tablets of the Covenant” - the agreement struck between God and the Israelites on Mount Horeb. No Gentiles were ever a part of that agreement.
However, if you’d like to set one day aside, then good on you.
New testament believers do not follow commandments that are written in stone but those that are written on the fleshy tables of our hearts. This is heretical teaching and despises the blood that Jesus spilt to set us free. Perhaps he should teach that we should sacrifice lambs and circumcision. Read Romans 14.
There is amazing truth in all the Commandments but besides the sin of disbelief where does Paul teach that any of them must be kept in order for you & I to be justified/forgiven/saved/enter Heaven ?
Eph 2:8-9 ? No.
Gal 2:16 ? No.
Rom 3:24-28 ? No.
Rom 4:5-8 ? No.
Titus 3:5 ? No.
Then how are you & I JUSTIFIED/saved ?
1 Cor 15: 1-4 by placing complete faith/trust in only the death/burial/resurrection of Christ.
Why what Paul says and not the other 12 ?
Because Christ, The HS & John, Peter, James said so.
Acts 9:10-15.
Acts 13:1-3.
Acts 15:6-12.
Acts 15:13-25.

The seventh day Sabbath is definitely not Sunday, but it's definitely not Saturday either.
Our great Creator assigned his faithful illuminary (The Moon) to determine the Holy Seventh Day Sabbath.
Psalms 104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith Elohim.
Everywhere in Scripture where the Sabbath is assigned a date it always falls on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the month, or lunation of the Moon. Our Creator put his calendar, his method of timekeeping in the firmament for all to see.
Unfortunately as Daniel proclaims times and laws have been changed. The Seventh Day Sabbath does not fall on a particular planetary day. It falls on the Seventh Day after the monthly New Moon.
The day one worships reveals the Diety that they worship!
Blessings,
To All
You are allowing your errant ways to pull you away from the True Sabbath. The Word of the Almighty Creator establishes the simple 7th Day as His weekly Sabbath every single week millennium after millennium. The 7th Day is the Sabbath. 7th Day from the last Sabbath. Your complications are deceiving. The next weekly Sabbath will begin at the 7th sunset after the last.
Six days you shall do your work, but the 7th Day is a Sabbath unto you..
Absolute nonsense.
"Romans 14:5 NLT In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable...10 So why do you condemn another believer?" Demanding that all believers celebrate God on Saturday is the same as when false teachers tried to subjugate believers under The Law again by saying they had to be circumsized to be right with God.
Hello. It's a Commandment
God's Idea.
Not Man's.
The infamous Romans 14 argument. Read verse 1 to get the context.
(KJV) "1. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations." Note: God's commandments are neither doubtful nor disputable. But manmade traditions are.
(NLT) "1. Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong." Note: references what other people think, not God's commandments.
In both translations, Chapter 14 is discussing manmade traditions. Has nothing to do with obeying the commandments of God.
You may also want to read scripture to understand the purpose of circumcision. It is not a requirement for salvation. It is a token of the covenant between God and Abraham regarding the promise of land. Pope Eugene IV could not figure it out either.
@@user-uu2rf8ev7z So you're saying going to church on Saturday is a requirement for salvation?
I'm not saved because I keep the Law, I keep the Law because I'm saved .
This guy must by SDA. Same vacuous arguments.
No one can keep the law. That is why the Father sent His only begotten Son to die on the Cross for us all.
I notice that JW's door knock on Saturdays now days . Also the Catholic church has Saturday evening mass . It appears they are having a 50/50 bet each way .
In the New Testament Christians assemble on the first day of the week which is Sunday. If your trying to commend yourself to God by keeping the Old Testament law then you are a debtor to keep the whole law which none of the Old Testament Jews were able to do. Do you keep all of the Levitical ordinances? In The Book of Acts the disciples address the gentile believers telling them what to do. They didn't need to be circumcized, refrain from eating non kosher foods or keep the Jewish Sabbath. They had been justified through faith in Jesus Christ alone. They could not be justified by keeping the Jewish Sabbath, being circumcised.....The Judaizers were trying to make the gentiles bare a burden which the judaizers themselves could not bare.....this video is a production of a modern day judaizer....Christian are you trusting in Christ for your salvation? Are you trusting in dead works?
Sunday is when Jesus rose from the dead. That's why Christians go to church on Sunday.
How can you get three days and three nights from Friday to Sunday
@@barbarasanders7965Yeah I’m still trying to figure out that nonsense. 😂🤦🏽♀️🤔
@@barbarasanders7965. He wasn’t crucified on Friday.
@barbarasanders7965 thats because Yahushua was crucified on Wednesday.
According to the Bible, Jesus was crucified on Friday.
These people are leading great rebellion against the *Apostolic Decree of Acts 15:22-29*
If Sabbath = 7th day (which of course it does), then the 7th day changes every new year (Nisan 1).
So, to say Sabbath is Saturday is a lie. This is one of the many reasons why it is so important to read, study, search the Scriptures daily for yourself and trust no man's teachings.👍
Horseshit
Nonsense
Then our calendar is wrong. Last time I looked, Saturday is the 7th day of the week. Has been for my 78 years on this earth. That's 78 years of Nissan in your opinion. I've seen no changes. In reality, Nissan is the month of the Aviv ( ripe ) barley. Exodus 12:2
The new moon keeps all months the same. There is no change. That's God's time clock.
@@thomasprice1320And then the Jews are wrong too. 🙂
The apostles changed the day from Saturday to Sunday. Christians are not under the Law. There is no confusion but an established truth
