That nostalgia when you go back and watch two of the best teams play from 05. I miss not knowing who was going to be in finals. I miss the level of competition from no. 1 seed all the way down . This era is my favorite ( sorry mj and the 90s). We had Bron, Nash, Shaq, Kobe, Melo,D Wade, Dirk, Duncan, T Mac, Jason Kidd, A.I., VC and Yao just to name a few. You could argue among this era played at least 3 if not 4 top 10 players of all time in Kobe, Bron, Duncan and Shaq. Now it's like who you got? Warriors or Rockets? Cavs or Celtics? Super teams taking away the best part of basketball. Competition. Missing the good ol days....
The Spurs didn’t ‘dismantle’ the suns. Someone gave Robert Horry the green light to take Nash out - very blatantly and intentionally- at a time when Amare was on the bench - w/other necessary Suns players- they were going to leave the bench when this happened and they got suspended- Nash out- best teams top players suspended.. Gee who won? Lol. David Stern had an agenda against Nash. Over leading a players rebellion against the synthetic basketball. This cost Stern, the league money on contract kickbacks. The commissioner’s office was going to let the spurs win.. no matter what. The Spurs could play w/out Horry - the Suns could not play an injured Nash and suspended players. Robert Horry had never done anything of this nature In his career. He had a respectable career up to this point… He was told to do this. Amare lost motivation. And when Amare did not have Steve Nash and the Mike D’Antoni offense- He did not play run and gun - pick and roll first option basketball on other teams and he lost motivation
hell ya man miss those days, I'm very fortunate to have gotten to see that team play growing up although my first suns game was probablly in like 2007 but still around the same time
these guys were a healthy joe johnson away from going to the chip. damn you jerry stackhouse EDIT: I would like to apologize ahead of time... I know reliving these glory days will tough for you in the future knowing your organization will be lottery bound indefinitely. @@torpedospurslet's be real, long haired manu was a problem for everyone. With a healthy Joe Johnson tho, suns would've had an outlet playmaker to take advantage of the attention Nash and amare were getting

Matt Robinson stop it, theres been parity in the league before. Like how lebron ruled the east, mj ruled the 90s. Stfu
@@undertakerblaise256 He ruled the east until he decided to go to the west too. Your reply didn't age well.
Thankkkk you sooo much for uploading this, I've been trying to find this game for yearsss! This was one of the best spurs combacks ever. Thanks!

23:05 Amaré was a big dunker!
Nasty!!!! 1:34:35

Amare flexing doing all those pushups. take the L dude.
ever since the spurs dismantled the suns Stoudemire went down the tubes and faded fast.

The Matrix at the buzzer!
Pound for pound Nash was the best player and best team player on the court. He was the true point God!
He was amazing. Too bad our bench wasn’t too deep and coach didn’t play enough of the bench in playoffs
back to this era when ginobili was way better than fucking toni
21:15 damn, miss young amare
It's more funnier that Duncan comes back and gets a and1 the fundamental way. I miss these guys
Actually 22:57 is waaaaay better lol

1:27:35 what happens when Mike Breen does not say "They do have a timeout, decide not to use it"
Nash all time favorite player

Nah. Manu was Joe Johnson's Kryptonite during those early years. He guarded Johnson effectively but Johnson couldn't return the favor.
