Tbh the movie design is fire and I loved Toro so I'm good with what we got, but yeah I'd pay anything to see the novel Carnos in a future movie/show/whatever
While I do like the first Jurassic World and do think it's better than it's two sequels, I do think the film really Underutilized the I-rex's camouflage potential since it only used it for that one scene and never again. Like the part where Owen, InGen, and the raptor squad end up all having to go after the I-rex could have been for another good opportunity for the I-rex itself to use even more of its camouflage abilities to really make it feel like TLW Carnotaurus.
Imagine if the I rex used its camouflage to menace everyone but not kill them, to make them just more on edge which would highlight how cruel of a creature it is. Like imagine owen just tryna hunt it and it appears behind him but just stands there
@@vyktorehon5995a cruel creature ? So people complain like hell about new JP films cos they are so “far fetched” yet you wana give animals a sense of morality?

This carno was a boss fight in one of the facilities and was described as a "chameleon-like dinosaur" and could essentially camouflage so well that it was literally invisible, even in a bright room. (ALSO, DinoFax, you should totally cover the arcade games and the dinos in them to both the books and movies!!) :D
In Disneys Dinosaur from 2000 the Carnotaurus also could camouflage. At the beginning of the movie you see a green Carnotaurus in a forest stalking it's prey. Running out of the forest to attack it's red.

Nah it has to be the novel raptors. They retain the same amount of intelligence as the movies but are more vicious and merciless, along with being waaaaay tougher as gunshots to the head won’t be enough to kill them cuz they can stop bleed wounds quickly, and the only weapon that can surely take them out is a bazooka. I remember these things as a boss fight in that one Jurassic Park arcade game where it would camouflage to hide itself from the player, then pop up behind them to get an attack in. It was a scary dinosaur thing that made me scared of chameleons for the rest of my childhood.
They actually used this Carnotaurus in the Lost World Arcade game by Sega. It’s the boss of the next-to-last stage and will constantly go invisible until the end of the fight, where you’re stuck in an elevator and it no longer has a need to hide.
Tbh i could imagine alot of dinosaurs having pretty good camouflage especially larger heavier ones that would rely more on ambush rather than running down there prey
Finally people who agree with me that this thing was a beast in the games, and novels. I'm still a bit mad how they did the Carno dirty in fallen kingdom.
I wish these were in the movies. Instead of being reckless red dino, having it like this would have the carnotaurus be more recognized for power and fear.
For some reason... Why dangerous if its not that large for a.giant predator like rex... Is it because there were more numbers of carnos in the island? Were the more skilled predators? Or do they even have the guts to attack even a full grown buck rex? (Ik about that the rexes and raptors fear about the carnos because they catched the scent of the carno territory lying around)
