I am a 77 year old cradle Catholic and this was the most informative and inspiring homily I have ever heard about the parable of the Good Samaritan. You are a brilliant man and a gifted and blessed speaker.
We catholics are so blessed by the graces of the sacraments to be able to gain heaven. Your homilies etc gives us all hope and joy to live out our days close to God . BISOP BARRON THANK YOU.
I cannot emphasise how much your homilies are critical to my faith and formation as catholic. Thank you bishop Barron and word on fire team. God bless always.
I am crying with joy because no one has ever brought Jesus’s teaching of the Good Samaritan to my ear like Bishop Barron. May God keep blessing you and word on fire institute. Plus welcome to MN.
Bishop your homilies, your arguments, and your teaching has changed my whole life in my 60s, I wish I'd had the opportunity to be taught my faith like this in my youth. Thank you, please pray my children will return to God
Thank you Bishop you are the pride our church. God blessed us to be in Holy Land. We spent some time in Jericho. Your Homily made sense how the landscape is. I am from Chicago niles .God bless
I told to 3 of my best friends: "Would you like me to show you the future Pope?" When they agreed, I sent them one of the bishop Barrons video. His homilies helped me a lot in my preachings. In adding to this story, the oldest city in the world (Jericho) had 27 foundations. It means that it was 26 times tottaly destroyed. Great homily! God bless! EDIT: Jericho is 230 m below the sea, and Jerusalem is 830 m above. So it is height difference of slightly more than 1 km. God bless!
@@colywogable Cool. As a priest, I really don't have any "charismas", "gifts" etc. (except the obvious one [being a priest]), so I don't think about that tought as God intervention to me (actually, I'm quite nobody), but now when I realise that I'm not alone... hm hm hm, curious, isn't it? ;) Spiritus Sanctus blows where He wants so no worries there. @@ReVincentius Yes! We shall see. But I like to imagine that Barron would be great for evangelization at this time. He is so accessible, yet so Catholic! :) Though I must say, I think that our Pope right now is really wonderful.
Every word in the bible is loaded with symbolism and meaning beyond the mundane. Speakers such as Bishop Barron bring to life the word of God and bring an aha moment to many. Take this story and apply it to your life the Catholic way. Otherwise it is meaningless in that it bears no fruit. Thank you Lord for this man.
This was a beautiful, inspiring homely. Everyone has heard the story of the Good Samaritan… however … this was the REAL in-depth meaning of the Good Samaritan story. The story is so much more beautiful and inspiring when these details are explained.♥️✝️
Just when you think you’ve been a Catholic guy for a long time teaching catechism and you know the parable - thank you Bishop Barron. “ Going down to Jericho from Jerusalem”.

Dearest Bishop Robert Barron, Good Morning! Thank you for the Sunday sermon today. God brought me here to the United States to live on Dreger road. He is the one who saves me from my sins. He redeems me from the evil one (the devil). I see God is Almighty, and I thank Him for rescuing my life. I see Jesus Christ our Lord saved his children from the hands and power of the enemy, especially in abortion. Jesus Christ is important in my life through His atonoment, teaching, yearning, peace, and example. He helps me continue to exist, face trials, and move forward with faith as I do back in exchange for Him and His Father. Bishop, I continue to pray for you. I ask Jesus would help us truly live a life of love. I hope to see you at the live stream mass today at 2 pm. God bless you all. Please, pray for the Dregers family.
