I feel like this geo tv channel is ruining our cricket. They brought in tabish hashmi and made him do shows with mediocre cricketers the likes of imad and muhammad amir. By doing criticizing there they got their way into Pakistan cricket. For their views and creating controversies now they brought in another loser like ahmad shehzad. I will not be surprised that in future if ahmed shehzad or umer akmal or sarfaraz ahmed are again brought into team. So i think our tv channels are playing a part in this demise of our cricket. They make these mediocre cricketers critics just for their ratings and in turn its hurting our cricket.
Can't forget Axar six to Shaheen. The most brainless ball of his career.
Kane Williamson actually won a ICC trophy against India, The Test world championship. First ICC trophy for NZ in 20 years. Not to mention, NZ actually won the 2019 CWC, But bad umpiring actually gave england extra run. They reached finals in 2021 t20 world cup, 2023 Cwc semis. So please let's not shit on kane just to make babar look good
I can understand y’all are biased being Pakistani fans. But don’t talk nonsense, just Cauz Dube hasn’t performed yet you come to the conclusion that IPL runs don’t convert? Nobody cares about your PSL. But IPL is at a very high level. It’s almost as competitive as an international game and the whole world knows it. People like Pandya, Bumrah, Sky, Rinku, Samson, all part of the current set up have done exceptionally well at the IPL in their early days granting them a place in the international team and they’ve shown that IPL runs and wickets convert at the international. Keep your bias and jealousy aside when doing these. And for the love of god don’t compare PSL and IPL ever again, absolutely nonsensical!

No ones comparing IPL to PSL. Watch our earlier videos we agree with you that it’s an inferior competition.
However, IPL is not comparable to international experience. If it was the least India could have done is win an ICC trophy in the last 10 years but unfortunately they lost at home (the same pitch the play IPL on) with a team which they have played against regularly.
It’s not even true for football (soccer) although their leagues are extremely competitive.

You should be listening to these interviews. Get a hold of Michale Vaughns recent interview before the Pakistan series ahead of the World Cup. He mentioned playing in the IPL is better quality than playing against Pakistan and so did Jos Butler in an interview on Sky sports before your series. So yes, it’s absolutely right that IPL and international cricket is almost at the same level. Listen to the 100s of players who’ve played at the IPL and how they talk about the IPL talent, those guys who make it to the IPL are absolute top quality. And even the guys who don’t make it to the India XI, most of them would be playing in the XI if they were from a different nationality. And that is facts, no arrogance at all.
@@dipeshpal7023mate you are not wrong about other players suggesting it is a great league to be a part of but I have not seen any player suggesting IPL is equivalent of international cricket. Secondly, we aren’t journalists, we are just two fans of the sport so if you find limitations in our views we totally understand.
But here’s what we think. Playing any league anywhere in the world can never be equivalent of international cricket for three very obvious reasons. One - Conditions. Two - Division of Players. Three - Performance Driving Metric.
A domestic T20 league anywhere in the world in one region is an isolated event and can never replicate the challenging conditions across different parts of the world. If playing on flatties and scoring 200 every game was cricket, then yes IPL would be an equivalent of International Cricket. But some would suggest the seaming Duke Ball in the UK, or the bouncing Kookaburra in Australia or the raging turner in the WestIndies all make for great viewing.
The other major factor to look at is the performance driving metric, money driven performances compared to performances driven by passion to play for the national jersey can never be the same.
While IPL is a great domestic tournament for India, it is not even close to International Cricket. I understand your bias towards the tournament but cricket is a lot more fun if kept as a global sport and not a regional sport.

You are willing to let go of Babars lean patch, but you continuously butchering Shaheen during his lean patch during last so many episodes. If shaheen is to be dropped, then drop the biggest fraud stat padder babar as well please.
Shaheen played a major role in so many wins for Pakistan. This stat padder has never won a game that matters... not last 8 or 9 games but any game in last 5 years or so. For a match that matters, people have only one NZ 2019 game (152-0 was a league game) to quote in all formats he plays.
Bowling should not be blamed for this match. Bowling was on point.

Jigra hai is team aur management ka. Had that been Japanese or any other pride nation they would have apologized and resigned right after match.
These players stay selected because big sponsors have 6 or 12 month deals with them.

All points valid. This team needs a complete overhaul. A younger team needs to be worked on and used for a few bilateral series. It looks like Pakistan will have to qualify for the 2026 t20 WC. ☹️

Everything aside I feel like the criticism of Pakistan team is a bit harsh. Can we please also acknowledge how India played yesterday? 37 runs in 10 overs! For me the problem was less about Babar, Rizwan, and Shaheen and more about Imad Wasim and Iftikhar. Sometimes wickets fall early..its T-20 anyway.. but your middle order batsman or whatever they are called should at least show up for the team. Iftikhar not only slowed down the game..he also dropped a catch earlier. Why is he still being selected?
Anyway.. everything aside, its not like we were wayyyy worse than India. They won just by 6 runs..
Fulltosses are the go to balls from bumrah, he gets wickets on fulltosses. If anyone can pull up the stats, how many of them bumrah has bowled them, what the strike rate was of the batsman collectively and how many wickets bumrah did get. It should be interesting one.
