I did something similar when I bought a car out of state. I actually had the dealer drop it off at the airport parking lot so I could just pick it up and leave. It wasn't snowing as heavily as this and they offered to come pick me up but the dealer was an hour from the airport but I told them i wanted it at the airport this looks like a similar situation, that's why he was in a shuttle
