omg why is everyone so disappointed? If u buy an album by an american artist you'll only get a cd with a small ass paper on the front with the lyrics on it for the same price as Bts's album. Just be happy that bts has pictures in it instead of having only a cd. They bless us with good quality pictures and even a photocard! And it's a good size if u ask me. Just shove it in ur bag and bring it everywhere with you. I know we all expected something better because the promotions for this album were crazy, but hey atleast we get a nice album with a decent ammount of pictures of the boys looking good af, and amazing music. Just be appreciative cuz they worked so hard on this.
oh and btw. the size of this album is a normal size. Don't complain pls and appreciate the hard work the boys put in for us to create this masterpiece.

Motionless Yoongi Like so true! For my first BTS album, I think it looks great with the photo books. Photo cards are nice keepsakes to look back on
Comparing American album packaging to Korean packaging isn't fair. Korean album packaging is a completely different ball game. Kpop fans expect to be pleased with the quality of their albums, and this one just does not match up with their quality packaging in the past. Saying there's a 96 page photobook and having half of them blank, frankly I think is tricking fans into buying the album, but that's an entirely different conversation so I won't go there. All I'm saying is if I spend my money on an album, and I sure did for this release, I expect it to be on par with the group's past works. Especially considering this is a full album it really should have been better packaged.
+Laken Alexandria you have a point tbh but still, some people don't realise the hard work that has been put into this. I just wanted to make that clear. The songs are more personal and everyone has a solo track. Actually that's all i ever wanted so what the album looks like shouldn't really matter in my opinion.

Good news, I got Jin’s photo card and he looks handsome as always. Bad news, the photo was taken with too much exposure and it’s poor quality. I expected better from BigHit. I compared it to Jin’s photocard from Persona and I’m glad BigHit pulled their socks up and stopped giving us poor quality photos of a high quality man.

Why so many people disappointed? I bought an album too and I bought it for their fucking good songs. Just 15$ and you have 15 beautiful songs and a not-as-expected photobook. Really what do you want?
Edit: Never know that my opinion would make so many arguments like that. So I gonna say something. Okay the photobook make you disappointed, okay I see why. But why don't you guys think about how much they spent making 7 outstanding short films? Hiring professional cheographers and producers to give us the best quality product? Paying for luxury costumes? So is the photobook that important? My friend always says that she never thinks that a full length could be 15$ without ship cost, it's too cheap.
And tbh I don't really care about the photobook, I bought physical album because I want to help our boys get their dream. That's all.
So please be positive. This time we should be happy not be disappointed about anything. Think about the good side
Hương Vũ people from abroad like me (England) had to pay £21 for delivery, and it would have been better if it was a hard cover incase something got ruined by the postage. My mum might tell me off now because there is no hard cover over the book and CD.
BUT IM SO HAPPY! I bought 'N' coz I thought why not, not having the slightest idea that it has Suga and Jimin as the photos! Suga is my bias and Jimin is my bias wrecker so, I'm very happy either way. And the songs are bomb 😊❤️
Hope you understand why some of us may be a little upset by the packaging now. :)
I'm disappointed because most people who order the album want it as a keepsake or collecting...when the quality is less than expected it sucks cuz we paid so much including shipping...and I never use the CD i already bought the album on iTunes
Its okay for K-AMRYs but not for Internationally fans. Since I'm from the UK it's expensive Because we have to pay the shipping which is literally like the price of the album. I wish I had bought from Koreanmall since they were doing free shipping for $49 and the 4 album was like $53. For me, I don't mind since I don't regret paying for the album at all literally this album is by far my favourite album this year.
I'm also a little bit disappointed because we're so used to such beautiful photobooks so that's kind of weird to have this instead, even though the quality is great as usual but yeah... And not having all the members is also a bad idea in my opinion
But I bought it mostly for the amazing songs so I don't have any regrets :)
Aimy Sunny I know where your coming from, the past 2 years of albums were big massive photo book and I can see why people would be upset to having a small album. When it use to be so big. It reminded me of how they went back to the size that they use to have during debut era. My friend was also upset about the pictures. She didn't like how she wouldn't be able to have all members in one booklet especially since she only got 1 random one.
tbh if people are disappointed for the pictures and packaging and all that, bighit could literally sell a cd album and photobook at the same time and yall gonna get the photobook and forget the fact that bangtan WORKED SO HARD for this cd album, even when each member had a solo and even a Cypher pt :/ this money u give bighit isnt even going to waste its supporting bangtan and their career and possibly many others as well

A few weeks ago, I couldn't decide what album to buy because I didn't know what would be in each photobook, but I randomly chose the N album. Now I'm really happy that I chose N because Jimin is my bias 😀

Well, Young Forever only has 2 new songs, Wings has 15 new songs, so...
The pictures may be small but the quality is really good! To me this was the best photoshoot they have ever made!!

Bought the entire set for 76ish dollars. Maybe its cause I like simple stuff but I actually like the packaging of this album.. like if it was any bigger/thicker it would be awkward. Maybe it'd be more "worth the money" if the photos are double sided, but having "blank space" actually makes things look better visually in my opinion. anyway, thank you for the unboxing video as always!

I actually think they might. Because ARMYs have concluded that they have to have an 'S' version. Cuz their album is called WINGS it's just strange when there's a W, I, N & G version but no S.
There also is 'interlude' instead of 'outro'
No Dreams yeeep exactly I thought that was weird like why change it to Interlude when it has always ended with outro. They also don't have a skit like they usually do. So they're either going to have a repackage album or a pt.2 album the S version. That's what I'm guessing anyways.
if they have a repackaged album, will it include every song in this album?

Honestly I'm disappointed :( I'm a huge BTS fan and I've already ordered 4 versions, but these albums are a) small, b) appear to be poor paperback-type quality, and c) have nowhere near as many photos as their past few physical albums. And this has been such an anticipated comeback too, I thought bighit would make these albums amazing
i had the same thought. let's just cross our fingers and hope that Big Hit improves the next packaging.

I totally understand, but I feel like some aspects of their mv could definitely have been cheaper without the quality being any worse. For instance, one of the jackets Jin wears is worth $4.5k cause it had real pearls on it. The song and the choreo would still be spectacular without the need to overspend on such insignificant things. I love BTS so much but some of the things bighit chooses to spend the fans money on annoys me, especially when we get such a substandard physical album as a result
yes this is what i thought. totally disappointed with the physical album. i completely understand this is a full album but to compare this one with the previous one, young forever.. this one doesnt even come with box.
Maybe bighit used too much effort in creating the MV and songs that they could only make small and paper material CD albums..

Not only does she work fulltime so she could easily afford these. Nowadays she has so many subs on her youtube channel as well. This video has 100k views, that easily paid back what she spent on these albums. So buying these albums actually earned her money.

Yes it is true. A lot of people make a living from youtube nowadays, Like Simon and Martina (previous EatYourKimchi) just makes youtube videos and lived in a good apartment in Seoul. Now they live in a house in Japan just from the youtube money.
And Pewdiepie (most subscribed channel) makes money similar to Hollywood stars.
Tina doesn't make a living from youtube, but she has enough subs and views that she makes money from her videos.

Why is everyone so dissapointed? Didn't you bought the album for their music and not for their faces? I get the photobook is something important, but these are pretty well taken pictures and also an amazing quality. The songs in this are amazing so I don't get why the dissapointment. In american artist, for Wings' price, you get the raw cd with a piece of paper poorly made with lyrics printed on it so I think this album is pretty good. I was expecting something more too, but I'm deff not dissapointed by this 'cause it's pretty good

I personally feel like the blank pages are a good opportunity for fans who can meet the members to get autographs from them without writing on the pictures (an autograph book on one side, basically). I don't usually buy the physical albums (just the mp3) but i think I really want to in this case. This didn't disappoint me and I am certain that there will be a special version later (maybe the 's'), especially if there's a high demand for it. It might just be something we all have to wait for in this case. I'm 99% positive it will happen, though.
Loved the photo book! BTS worked so hard making 15 great songs with short films, and don't get me started on the MV. 👏🙌👏 Baes look great! Thanks for the review Tina!

BigHit is full of trolls. They had known that a bunch of people would take an educated guess when pre-ordering and pick a version that corresponds to the unit they want (from the circles in the short films to the way they posted the concept photos), but then they reversed the order just to be sneaky a-holes 😩

Guys, the fact that its so small (and cheaper) is because its easier for you then to collect ALL the versions. Thats kinda the point of it.

Seriously people stop complaining. BTS have done 7 short films, a comeback trailer and an MV (possibly more of them to come for this album) and you're all saying it's not good enough because they're isn't enough pictures??
The WINGS album is awesome, but my fav was defs the hwayangyeonhwa young forever album. the packaging, photobook and poster was so aesthetic. same as part 1 and 2

if you want all the versions it costed me 80.00 but that comes with the shipping and handling...if you just want one it cost 15.00 but shipping equals 25.00 or sometimes 30.00
