Loved hearing your experience. Just popping in to say I was on the second bookfluencing panel and have a (semi) active UA-cam! Booktube may be small be we are mighty 💪🏾😄
I have leanred so many lessons from my various bookish events i mostly go to Ala and comic con and in the past book con and have those down to a system. it is def a process and i always try to go in with the mindset.. you cant get everything but just go for a fun time. it is alwaya better to go with friends. my next goal is to o to romacne focused singing.. those scare me lol :) but i am glad you had fun time!!
Sooo as someone who taught grad school in DC…yeah a $20 poke bowl is normal…and waiting for your Starbucks is a thing, so that’s why I always order ahead. Hopefully a little tip to help you next year do you’re able to snag tix ❤
Also, saving the Sierea Simon vampire novella for TAR! I was eyeing that Elisha Kemp book all weekend, thinking I had time to buy it. No, it sold out shortly into the second signing Saturday!! 🥴 she gave me the second one in the series though so I need to get the first so I can get to that soon!!
I'm glad that you had a great time despite spending a lot of it in lines! There's a queer romance book convention happening in my city next year, and while the author announcements and such have been exciting, it's the first time the organizers are doing a convention so I'm nervous about it but hoping for the best 🤞
Thanks! No, I’m not going next year. Tickets sold out so quickly it just wasn’t worth it for me this time around. I’ll be at Romantasy BookCon in LA though!

@@Heyitswhitlavonne we’re not going anywhere! 🤣
Sounds like a hectic time! Glad you had fun. And you got some stunning books!
I love seeing all of the Apollycon exclusives. So pretty!
This was super helpful, thank you!! Tickets for 2025 go on sale in a few days and I’ve been trying to do my research before dropping so much money!😂
Good luck with the ticket hunt!
Interesting to hear about your experience!
I miss you!!! You covered it so well! 📚
I miss you!! 🥰
Oh wowww that Order of Scorpions naked design!! Stunning
I know right? I didn’t realize until I got home how gorgeous it was!
There are restaurants that are walkable from the hotel. I’ve been to cons at the same place but you do have to leave the building.
Yeah but between the other event happening at the harbor and needing to rush from one line to the next, there wasn’t a lot of time.
Gorgeous books 📚
Omg that Claire sager and j Bree special editions are GORGEOUS
They’re so pretty! They were wrapped up when we bought them, so I didn’t even get to see how gorgeous they were until I got home!

Yeah you learn something every time you go to one!

Unfortunately since it was the hotel cafe and not a real Starbucks we couldn’t order ahead 😭

Oh no! That’s a bummer! I’m hoping I love it!

Best of luck! I hope it goes well!
Woodborn sounds interesting.
I know right?! I can’t wait to get to it!
wow really surprised to hear there were no booktubers!
Yeah that was a big bummer! Maybe next year!
beneath black Sails I really liked. but I'm a sucker for pirates.
I don’t know that I’ve ever read a pirate romance. But I’m here for it!
Hi! Thanks for the insight. I've been having trouble finding info on this event 😅 Are you going 2025?
Thanks! No, I’m not going next year. Tickets sold out so quickly it just wasn’t worth it for me this time around. I’ll be at Romantasy BookCon in LA though!
Tik tok is going to be banned, so I am just going to stay here is the mood.
Right? No point in working my butt off just to have it all close down
