  • Maponga Joshua III Mara-Rah is an international Speaker, writer, musician and Pan-Africanist.
Maponga Joshua has never shied away from expressing his beliefs as an African man and a believer.
His past as a gospel minister got the Christian community up in arms with his journey. Some call him controversial, and some pastors have written him off. Are his sermons irrelevant now?
Maponga Joshua often says: “I question everything. If you find me on a good day, I even question patriotism the country of Zimbabwe".
Zimbabwe is the country of his birth, and he has since returned home to add his contribution to his nation.

Thank you for the wisdom/boldness to bring the Bishop. Great conversation, have a lot to say about the introduction for this conversation but enjoyed the conversation. Is the Bishop boldly saying he rejects Jesus or the representation of him? I'm asking cause he says Jesus is black from Africa and still within the same conversation says he doesn't believe in him, maybe I am missing his point.
The bishop is important and critical but he isn't all knowing and the ultimate custodian of Spirituality or being African and I feel he sometimes show up in conversations forgetting that.

surely he aint all knowing but more often than not he knows more than those around him generally and ofcoz his ideas are thought provoking and really do need an ear.

Im a fan of Maponga but when it comes to the Jesus issue I do not agree with him. Jesus exist he hasnt met him so its not his fault he is not convinced, but there are some of us who saw him we know what we believe ini because we saw it with our own eyes

You will keep on living a lie until you die, Jesus Christos a Greeko Roman name that was forced to your psych from generations until now. You don't have to disagree with Maponga you must prove it and know it. All this fabricated history was forced to Malenated people by our enemies.
