- Tharangini is a 2010 drama film starring Mohan, Tejaswini, BC Patil, Abijith, Srinivasamurthy, Dattanna, Shobaraj and others. The movie is based on the 1992 novel ‘Neenyarigadheyo’ written by top rated novelist Usha Navarathnaram. Tharangini’ is the name of the river that is being polluted. The film also focuses that it is not easy for one persons to fight against the system, everyone needs to work together to stop environmental pollution.
