Application of AI in IC Design and Verification
Artificial intelligence capabilities are omnipresent in society, both in obvious and non-obvious ways. Over the past few years EDA and specifically verification solutions have started to leverage AI and it’s components like Machine Learning. This presentation will provide some examples of how design and verification is leveraging AI, and discuss some of the potential future applications of AI for design and verification.
Matt Graham is Group Director of Product Engineering focusing on automation and AI solutions in the System Verification Group at Cadence. Matt started his career as a design and verification engineer in Canada and the US before joining Cadence almost 20 years ago. During his tenure at Cadence Matt has held several Applications Engineering and Production Engineering roles, in Canada, the US and most recently based out of the Cadence International Headquarters in Cork, Ireland.
