A man so gentle, so warm, so gracious and delightfully funny, and yet he portrayed one of the most fearsome presences in cinematic history. I wept at his passing...he remains one of my most beloved and favorite actors. The world is dimmer with his passing, but his contributions and the memories he gave us all will be with us always. Rest in well deserved peace, dear Angus, you will be missed and forever loved.
I was glad to meet him a few years before he passed and told him I grew up with the phantasm films and he kinda smiled and said well thank u very much RIP Angus

I envy that bond as a fellow phan, but moreso my heart aches for you having lost such an integral person in your life. He's never gone as long as you hold onto all the years of such cherished memories, and I'm sure he checks in periodically from whatever spacegate he's coming from 💓
Kirsten, I met you and Dustin at Days of the Dead in Atlanta in 2015 and bought a copy of Exhumed at your table, and got it autographed at by Angus, as it was my birthday I asked him to say whatever he wanted in the book, and he wrote "To a happy 50 from a happy 88" - Angus Scrimm. I only came to that show because of him, I got three autographs, the book, the Cuda, and the Action Figure. I've been going to autograph shows ever since, but not one experience has come close to the experience my two boys and I had with him. He's been a tough act to follow I guess. P.S. For Dustin, I'm the guy who called out the guy selling the fake Silver Orbs on eBay. -Chuck Johnson
I find this tribute very moving. Brought me to tears. Never have I seen such devotion to an actor like Angus Scrimm. He was not just a tall man in film, he was one in real life as well. Hats off to Kristen Deem.

WOW!!!!! I got his autograph at the San Diego Comic-con back in '03 (I think... maybe it was '02 or even '01). Great guy. This was touching Kristen.
