Thai food is hella delicious. First time I went there I got blown away. The seafood dishes, oyster omelette, fresh grilled cockles, pad thai and the tomyum. It’s incredible.

Foy Thong - is the dessert from Portuguese's dessert
Portuguese's dessert -name: "fios de ovos". This dessert found in : "Aveiro" city of Portugal.
And a Portuguese "Maria Guyomar de Pinha" (She came to Siam during 1659 - 1722) who made this dessert in Siam.
In Thailand called this dessert is "Foy Thong" - Foy=small piece, small line, Thong=Gold
We gave "Maria Guyomar de Pinha" is "Queen of Thai dessert". She made more 10 desserts in Siam.

As Thai, I recommended you guys about noodles that you should eat with chilli sauce because most of restaurant will cook a little tasteless. If add more chilli sauce, you can taste more sour and spicy.
Foy tong, it already delicious by itself. (That is my favourite Thai dessert!) Not only go well with bread but also coconut milk ice-cream.

As thai people, I never eatten foi thong with dipping sauce in my life. This is so weird, because foi thong is extremely sweet by itself (maybe one of the sweetest thai dessert). But I'm very happy that you like it. One day I will try this menu too. 😆😆😆

Mai Saikaew it’s crab meat. If you buy that much crab meat from the supermarket, it’s already 3-400 baht.

It's about location, restaurant and quality of ingredients. Usually one whole crab in normal restaurant 500 bth is the normal price. In some restaurant it up to crab weight, once we(me and my husband ) paid for crab dish around 2500baht. Bangkok not the place thst everythings will be cheap, thing up to what and where you eat.

That crab dish is for sharing and Seafood dish is quite expensive in Bangkok.
It is much cheaper in seaside provinces. (I’m hungry now)

500 baht is way too expensive though... I can find 160 baht one near my house (I lived in Outer Bangkok; no sea around), but of course, there would be less crab and smaller crab. Still, I think around 300 baht would be a reasonable price for the dish, if you want a decent quality one.

@@HERO_Pectoralist As far as I can see, the crab meat they use is giant mud crabs which is meatier and more expensive than flower crabs and the amount they use in the dish is a lot. The boiled crab meat alone would already be 300+ baht.

The queen of Thai dessert is half japanese half protugese immigrant that live in Ayudthaya (the capital city of Siam or Thai nowadays).Her position is Head of chef in Siam royal palace . She adapt protugese recipe and turn it to local version of Thai dessert (Protugese influence) So,Thai dessert nowdays are the heritage of Protugese food culture influence and also the other Asean countrys in this region that once Protugese colony.

Foytong is a traditional Thai desert they're usually on their own, never seen it in a bread before. My favourite is the droplet...same ingredient but in a water droplet shape. It got a jasmin scent as well...ahhh hungry sadly can't get it where I am right now. Missing it so much.

Foithong bun from this cafe is the most delicious! and super duper yummy
this one is unique. You can not find a foithong bun in general.
The shop called KLER in old town Bangkok, around Golden-mountain area.
