Of course, he is no longer the dominating figure in distance running (way past his prime-the bus has left a long time ago-actually since 2009) but he still is kicking and few athletes (actually none) at 40 can run the way he does. I hope that the Ethiopian Federation will pick him to run at the 24 Olympics (marathon) That will be a monumental accomplishment of Athletic longevity, resiliency and determination. Bekele is for sure the greatest and most complete distance runner in history and athletics.
