I agree having a viable 5c's kit in any wilderness situation is a must. I really like that you chose the plastic drop cloth. It's so cheap, light, convenient and functional. You can take 2 saplings and tie them together to make an arch and throw the plastic sheet over.. bang instant shelter in 1 to 2 minutes. II think you can easily add a pen light or some kind of candling device in that front pouch. Being caught in the dark without a light is one of my biggest fears in going out to the woods for hiking. You probably already have that covered in your key chain kit. thanks for posting.
Far East Survival Thank you and a light is very important as well, it can be a huge help for sure. I have a pen light i could put in there as well. good addition for sure.
Nice setup my friend!! They do make some good stuff... Thanks for sharing
Central Oregon Survival Network Hey bro glad you had a chance to drop by. It works for me , and i like the quality of their gear.
I think their quality is good to go... Thanks for sharing my friend...
Hello again, my outdoors friend. That is a really nice set up. You have most of the basics covered. Nice and compact. Thank you for sharing. I will check it out. 🤗
That kit has moved on into different packs and the pouch is now a stanley cup cook set. :) Thanks for the watch man , take care.
I have seen the One Tigris products shown a variety of channels recently. I bought a FAK pouch that was probably made by them without labeling. It works for what I want it to do. I have the famous brand name version of the water bottle pouch. I found a stainless steel Tea container with a wooden lid that fits the stainless steel bottle at a thrift store for less than a dollar. I put the lid in the bottom, set the tea container in, water bottle with the cup turned upside down over the top. The bag cover zips closed and there is a little bit more storage room at the top also.
With all the attachment points it makes adding and removing pieces easy and I am sure you will experiment with it some more before deciding on a usual kit. Also on a side note. I think you did a great job on the show. You made a tough decision at an even tougher moment in time. You kept your head about you and that what is most important in a survival situation.(which I believe you were). As you said before. The Bears we have near me are not nearly as aggressive as these seem to be. Once again great job. Love your videos. And your sense of humour.
Thanks. Chris
Bushcraftcambridge Thanks alot man appreciate it and the comment take care Chris
+Bushcraftcambridge I agree, I would not have hesitated either, Wayne did a nice job. I have wondered if the things that him and Joe Robinet faced that had them tap out, I think our 2 Canadian buddies would have lasted a long long time on that show. Well said.
+Kullcraven Bushcraft Agree with Chris, you and Joe Robinet would have been great as the last 2 men standing if not for those tough moments and I would have been beary beary scared and gone before you likely LOL. Keep up the good work man!!!!!
Great Kit KB! I got one of these in an apocabox shipment, wasn't made by one tigris though, pretty cool man- CP
Canadian Prepper Thanks man , pretty cool kit for sure . I love the versatility of puches like these, and now i dont need to carry a bacp pack just for a water bottle lol. Take care buddy.
LOL Kull I think we were thinking out of the same brain on this one. I picked one of these up about a month ago and have been testing it out. I am loving it! It is kinda surprising how much they hold. I picked up my bottle pouch as a companion to my pathfinder haversack. I didn't get the same brand but they seem identical and we'll built. Great review my friend take care!
Mark
Adventure Time Outdoors Thank you Mark, im loving this one as well. they do hold alot , i was surprised as well.
Clever idea with the cup. I am going to emulate it. I just fixed my old mess kit in such a manner. Didn't give a thought to the cup. Thanks. Best.
Tom M Your welcome Tom and glad you liked my cup idea, had to make something work and this does for me.
I use one for a hunting kit for yrs wound up giving it to my kid but I used a tactical taylor pouch with it and man problem overnighting with it its great bag mine was a maxpedition I believe thanks for showing it ..tom
kabaruser Hey Tom , that is great apparently alot of people have the maxipedia ones.
nice set up looks like it works real well i got a pf water bottle holder love the pouch and multi carry options i even put a reusable space blanket in the pouch tight fit but it works well
coydog bushcraft and survival Sounds like you have a good set up, a survival space blanket is a good choice as well, tho i dont like the small size, i rather have 10 x 12 lol but had to go with 8x8 for it to fit lol
Great pack. I like your kit. What I would add is a Ranger Band at the top of the Mora sheath to slip over the top of the knife handle to add a more secure sheath.
Grae Kaiyote Thanks , that sheath will not come off, i need to pry it out of there, so its all good, thanks for the tip tho.
Kullcraven Bushcraft I am sorry, I wasn't more clear. The Ranger Band idea is to keep the Mora knife from slipping out of the sheath. Those Mora knives have a tendency to loosen up from those plastic sheaths when getting banged around in the woods. After I lost my first Mora that way I started putting a Ranger Band around the top of the knife. Looking forward to some more great videos. Thanks, Craig
:) I ordered one. The one thing I rarely see in the majority of EDCs is a compass, which IMO is the #1 essential of preparedness.
Switcher Actually a compass is one of the 10 c's. i only use 5 in 90% of my trips.
I never enter the woods without one. regardless which category it falls into :)
Great review. I've been watching from the sidelines for some time. And after seeing this one could t keep my trap shut anymore. I have been using the maxpedition 12"x5" bottle carrier for about 18 months. I use a 64 oz kleen kanteen bottle with toaks 1100 ml titanium pot and pan set. The pot fits in the bottom of the carrier inside a reflectix cozy. Then the bottle goes in. a small dollar store plastic bowl nests on top of the bottle and the frypan or lid for the pot goes in the lid of the carrier. It all zips up and stows excellent. The pocket keeps the handle for the pot and pan a pen and sharpie a sail needle and ferro Rod and a titanium spork. I keep a fixed blade attached to the outside an a flashlight holster from mag light holds my lansky sharpener. Also on the outside I keep a p51 can opener on a lanyard and a curvy man from nite ize with about 30' of masons line. This kit comes to work with me every day and gets used and abused. I always have water with me and my backpacking stove fits nicely in my lunch pail so I can always have my hot oatmeal for break and also if there isn't a Timmies near by I can boil up some water and make my own. Excellent kit a bit pricy but very much worth it. and it is still shows no wear at all. And to transition this to camping just throw it in your pack. Can't say enough about it. These products are very similar and I'm sure to will enjoy it for a longtime to come. Thanks
Chris
Bushcraft Cambridge.
Bushcraftcambridge Hello Chris, sounds like you have a great set up there, I think your right i will enjoy this pouch for years. I love how it keeps all my essentials handy, i actually attached a pen style light to the outside as well.
+Kullcraven Bushcraft - I have spent a lot of time around Chris' kit here, it is really good. And his skills using that p51 can opener are ridiculous LOL, I look like I have 4 thumbs learning still haha!
I also have a few condors .. I have never been able to get all 5 c's in there! Looks like I may need to upgrade! Really looking forward to the cup video. Thanks for sharing! Great Kit!
P701 Preparedness & Outdoors Your very welcome and I thought the cup was kinda cool and would be need to show, for people that might want to make one as well. It is a very nice water bottle pouch man.
@@kullcraven thank you. I love the cup mod. Have you done a video? There are so many videos I may have missed it.
@@heididenman7308 That cup works pretty decent, I think this is the video ua-cam.com/video/Vv0gPjVXvTQ/v-deo.html thanks for the watch and hope you enjoy the vid. :)
Great video Wayne. Have the same pouch in an other brand, but I carry in it my full cooking kit. Still use a PF haversack for my day hike kit.
Stay safe.
Boub Le Survivor Sounds like alot of people have used similiar, they are a very nice set up. I never had another but wanted one, this was a great choice.
I have the same configuration but on a Condor pouch. I like the cup modification. Nice video.
Carlos Sepulveda Thanks , i see alot of folks have a condor pouch . cool. This will give a few people some ideas. thanks for sharing.
Great idea Kull. I really like the cup mod a lot. I have the condor pouch and I really like it. Take care bro!
Donny Pavolini Outdoors Hello Donny i love having the option i can walk away from camp and have security if i got lost i could easily set up a camp anyplace. I really like this pouch and suits me fine and cheap man , under 20 bucks in the states , and under 25 here in canada .
Got 2 of them for my pack but like you said you can use them alone. Also found the Nescafe Instant coffee 475 gm tin fits in them as well so you can have a nice container for lots of things, like pers hygiene gear or food. Lots of applications with the molle attachments. Good purchase you will love it.
A J Taylor thanks man and alot of great ideas you can do with these. Thanks for sharing with us.
Really like the cup mod. I have the same nag and it is a great bag. Appreciate the video.
William Collins Thanks man , yeah it is a sweet pouch, the cup was an idea i took at, i wanted a nesting cup and i cant get one around here, so i made one lol.
Yeah for sure, i have had to make alot of my own gear, because i live on a budget for one haha.Plus it really is a great feeling to use something you made, that is why i become a carpenter.
Great mod to that cup. I enjoy watching your channel. Keep rockin brother.
The tendency is to always carry too much. There's a certain freedom in just carrying the necessary items in a bag of that size. Very sensible.
Weekend Wanderer Thank you, i am used to going in the bush with minimal gear, so this can easily get me threw a couple days , and longer if needed. Winter time would be alot tougher of course, need alot of firewood to keep a fire going all night but still doable.
VERY nice!~These water bottle kits are great. I added that other pouch on mine and its just awesome! ~Atb, Dawn
SouthPaw Bushcraft Very Nice Dawn, they are pretty neat i had to take a back pack before just to carry my water bottle lol.
Great complete kit Kull. Really like it, Thx for sharing my friend.
Very nice kit you built around the OneTigris tactical water pouch. Great nidea for the tarp but I especially like the cup a video on it would be great. Good video. atb Opal
Opal Preston Shirley Thank you and glad you liked my kit. the cup i cant show how to make it but i can show what i did to make it work. Thanks for dropping by and take care Opal
Now all I need is the skill set so I only need to carry a nice small kit like that lol
All the best
Ranger
Wandering Ranger Hello Ranger your exactly right, i plan on addressing that. this kit is useless for many people. You have to have the skill set around your own personal kit. I'm glad you realized that.
Hello Kull, i was looking at these the other day, good piece of kit for the price, great review. I see One tigris do some other interesting packs too. Thanks for sharing. Atb Darren.
Darren Roberts Yeah i'm liking the gear that i have gotten and tried thus far, what i like about their products that they are budget friendly but great quality , so i love to share them with people, Plus i usually modify things to suit my needs and maybe can give someone an idea or two.
Great kit bro. Looking forwards to seeing the cup modification video. It would be nice to see some close ups. Thanks for sharing. Atb. Robert
BluegrassBushcraft Hello Robert, glad you liked the kit, yeah i will do a video on the cup, its a good DIY project.
Cool review thanks for sharing
All the best Pete
Thanks Pete, I' using this to see its uses and how it performs in different weather.
nice Kull. I personally enjoy having a belt kit as it doesn't flop around. but that's just me. thx for sharing. :) Be blessed!
Saved Monk Outdoors That is exactly what is so cool about this, i can attach this to a belt or even a pack as well. Blessings.
I've always liked those pouches.. but I never ended up getting one. My Guyot bottle is 38oz so I'm not sure it would fit.
Thanks for the video brother.
Eat Carbs This pouch is great for my needs, i dont think your water bottle would fit man. i can say for sure. i gave the dimensions, you can measure your bottle and see.
I have my Hidden Woodsman haversack though. I think I'm good. As long as it doesn't leak on me again. =P lol
Thanks for another good vid! 5c's is such a great survival system.
Guns N' Loaded Your welcome, i am happy with it and love having a complete kit with me at all times .
morning, Kull; Great set-up. Covered all that is needed. Looking 4wad 2 your DIY cup.
Happy Trails From own The Path A Piece ATB TerryGod Bless
T.W. Milburn The only thing i wish it had was a good sleeping bag haha , that would make it perfect . lol Have a great day dude God bless Terry.
I’ll keep my knife and stay out of the commy states 👍🏼 Good video brother!
You beat me to this video bud. I was just about to make a video about my condor H2o pouch survival kit. Too funny. My bushcraft black is in the same spot. Like minds buddy.
DEECEE's ADVENTURES Haha indeed man you live this stuff as i do, so yes we think alike, having a nice kit to take out, even when camping , you can set up camp and head out on a scout, always good to have the essentials with you, incase you get turned around. Take care buddy.
Great video love kits like this and I'm still make my video so we can compare. Thanks for sharing.
I could not get to this video til today. Great review man, on many levels. I have watched a lot of h2O bottle carrier reviews, this is one of the better ones. It is very in depth. You cover a lot of angles of the bag, the att. points - the zippers and the construction, and more, everything someone needs to see for some of the key areas. I know you so your reviews carry some weight with me.
This is one of the things, and the companies I have been watching. I have their MOLLE clip pack, have not used them yet, had them about a week. My first water bottle carrier will be here this week, it is the large v. of the Maxpedition 12x5. It matches basically what BushCraft Cambridge had to say in their post below mine here. Have you tried flipping over your SS bottle upside down in that kit Wayne? It looks to me if you tried that, it might nest down another 1/2" or so of space, and give you even more room, would like to know if that works for you or not. Love your practical reviews, I got a laugh at that one point where you discuss how much you clearly like that mod. you did on your cup w the canteen handle LOL, that is genius, and yes, you should do a tutorial on that, and thanks for the laugh. Another solid review by you, so thank you very much. That pouch is WAY bigger on the front than they look online!
+Barry Dutton Hello Barry, as you seen i have upgraded my kit and it all works well together and have changed up some items. I have used this pouch since this video and i really like it . I have done a video on the canteen cup, in my vids someplace look around and you will find it :) thanks for watching.
Nice basic setup ... one thing if I could recommend for you is make the shoulder strap out of paracord to give yourself more cordage to work with.
John Parmentier Thanks , you could make a paracord strap if you like, good option if someone wanted to.

I got here by reading your Amazon review.
Thanks for your video, it was useful in deciding to buy.
One question: is the steel bottle a Nalgene?
Regards
Thanks for checking out my video, this is an Outbound water bottle, hope that helps. :)
I would add at least one fire lighter, a signal mirror, whistle and some sort of compass to that kit. Mylar blanket (heat reflector) as well if there is room.
leighrate That is great, you can add anything you like, it is up to you to personalize the kit. for me, i have all i need with these items.
That's a clever cup handle.
Bobby Harper Thanks man, it was tricky to figure out , but i got it to work.
hi wayne, I got the bag to and I think it's great
I really like this pouch and use it very often, held up well and works as i need. :)
I'm surprised no one has started making those commercially, I think those cups with that type handle would be popular , contact Hunter he has connections in chyna.
Back in 2012 I bought a Condor water pouch like this and hooked on the kangaroo AR 15 pouches the single ones that have the pistol mag on the front of it and I got the ones that hooked over for better containment and I hoped on to the sides and the front and I was able to carry enough stuff on that thing to where it turned into its own survival kit 5 C's cover no problem trauma kids just everything you would need actually to go on a two day trip with just that so I see what you're doing there
Touched by a 12gauge Awesome and great set up i would say. These come in very handy. I have only owned this one but found it served my purposes very well. thanks for sharing.
That looks like an awesome pouch to have for a day hike, and the price is excellent! But I have to ask. Where did you buy the friggin huge fero
RowdyRoddy LOL my buddy bought it for me, from ebay i believe for 15 bucks. It works great and you know it will last you along time. Better to have more then you need then not enough lol
Ordered the water pouch tonite. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for reviewing and posting this Wayne.
Hey man, i like mine and use it all the time. I have had others check it out as well and they have seen me using it on camp outs and so on, and happy with how it works.
nice water bsg. imma going to check it out. Thanks for the video.
+Tim Hill I have used this for a while and took it out many times, i love having this complete kit with me. :)
+Kullcraven Bushcraft ... I got my Tigris in the mail Today buddy. I really like it. Thank you for the great review on it. you sold it to me. now to find a good bottle and get it hooked up... Take care..
I am going to have to get me one of these, no doubt ollllllo
From Urban to Country Homestead I really like min, it is worth picking one up if you can use one.
5 C's covered in that package easily. Nice.
Paul Buikema Thanks , it works for me and i usually go with bigger tarps and ferro rods lol , and they still fit in the pouch.
I would buy this but it can’t fit a 40oz canteen by the looks of it 😢
Probably not and this was years ago, not even sure its available anymore. Thanks for the watch and it may give you an idea of what you can use that will work. :)
Nice purse. :-)
Kullcraven Bushcraft Had to write that brother, that was what my wife said when she first saw it.
I made a similar kit about ten years ago based on a Maxpedition 12x5 water bottle holder; I thought I was a genius but then I found youtube and discovered that everyone does it! The Pathfinder bottle bag is also great for this. Like you I keep a couple small pouches on it to get a more items in. My application is like yours, just a day hike kit that could get me through an unplanned nite or two in the woods if need be. I keep a cheap poncho, a couple of survival space blankets, fire stuff, chlorine dioxide tablets, a knife, a small multitool, cordage, an Enlish sailmaker's needle, a light stick, a flashlight, a signal mirror and a small compass, etc. There's even room for me to include either a Sawyer Mini or a Lifestraw.
Sounds like you have a good set up, i have changed a few things with this bag since this. this now is a cook kit i use. lol I'm always changing bags and gear to make what i want at the time, after getting different gear and so on. always fun to make these kits up. Appreciate you checking it out and for you sharing your kit as well. Thanks.
