Yes I love Hawk in low tier Abyss. In fact that's how I learned to run them. Lost a few figuring it out. I did see a guy running T6 with 3 x Hawk the other day. Might try that one day.

I added a 125mm autocannon for a tiny bit more dps on the battleship-waves or just for popping the bio. Saves me a littel bit time overall. No Implants needed with relative good skills.

I'm an Alpha clone, meaning I can't fly the Hawk or any other Tech 2 ship. Is there another ship you'd recommend for T2 Abyssals?
Stick to blitzing T1s with a Worm or maybe a punisher. Doing T2s without high skills is not really efficient even if you can pull it off.

I've been using a passive Stabber fit in T2 Gamma and it's been smooth as butter. Thinking of upgrading to a Vagabond soon and checking out T3.
I love my vagabond. It sure will be fun
I like the fit, but I'm -1.1 CPU and -0.8 Power Grid short to run it.
Some people need a hardwired implant to run it. Training rigging skills let's you fit it without a ln implant.
curious... is it better to run low tier abysses (guess up to T2 only)in a frigate for the triple loot (we gonna ignore multiboxing, true solo only), of invest many billions into a cruiser that can run T6?
that depends on your isk, always expect for the worst scenario in abyss
I guess what the answer depends upon is this: do you want to maximize possible gains -> cruisers or minimize losses (while keeping income at a good rate) -> frigates t1/t2
