? Is that a left handed machine? I bought my HD9BE a few months ago and I love it. I like to sew bags and wanted dive into using leather and vinyls. So far, So good.
I'm looking at the Janome 6700 and HD9 - I'm stuck between them. I mainly used the machine for hat making... interesting thoughts as I was going for the 6700 due to the stitch variety, but I'm now swinging the other way. Did your 6700 sew over layers of fabric?
Are you aware your entire video is mirror image reversing everything? When you show needles sizes, etc... everything is backwards. Otherwise nice review.
Thanks for the great review. Have been wondering about it. Thrilled over the years with Janome.
Have had a 6600 for a LONG time and just love it. Thank heavens I don’t have the problem with my thread cutter like you did. Use it regularly

No, the camera has mirrored the image :)
Hi Mrs H, what threads do you recommend for the HD9 - especially heavier thread for bag making?

@@SewingPatternsbyMrsH Thank you. Ive just found the facebook group too - so helpful!
Thanks for this and particularly your honesty I think I’m buying one...🥰
Just bought one yesterday. I have to assemble it on it’s new table. I’m making bags too!
Thank you for your info on the HD9, contemplating getting one for bag making. Love the technical terms "Whatsit" and "Doodie" made me laugh out loud!
Hi Mrs H. Can you buy a walking foot for this machine?
Whoops, just watched till the end and I’ve answered my own question 😂
I keep looking at this machine but why is the foot so low?? That concerns me
Can't you solve your "second lift" problem with the knee lever (lift)? Then you have your hands free,...

I'd have considered a Janome, but they don't make a walking foot machine.
My 6600 certainly has a walking foot
