Western Equipment, thanks for great videos. I love Brent’s personable, knowledgeable, and informative delivery, the no wasted time getting into what we clicked on the video for, and the combination of content for experienced tractor operators and inexperienced operators alike. Great work! Don’t change a thing.
Been in cab tractors for decades now. Soend the money, by the premium cab..you will have the tractor for years. By the time you amortize that out over the years, its cheap and well worth it, and it definitely helps when you go to sell it.
I love your vidoes I’m a huge Deere fan but I’m more of a Massey Ferguson fan then a Deere but we own both just I like the options that Massey offers in the global series tractors compared to other competitors but I’m also a super Deere fan too. I love your videos sir!
Definitely standard cab, simple and easy to operate & the seat it comes with is actually a good seat I had no back fatigue or back pain with the standard seat it was great I have different tractors & my 5090 has an air ride seat that actually hurts my back also in regards to the upper roof visibility, it’s nice but I will bet in summertime it will get hot as heck even with that light screen, the right side door I feel is important that it opens and closes which I always get the kit with my tractor, But as you stated it will come down to the user what’s best for them my choice is the standard cab it’s nice🚜🚜👍
In Ireland can get 5125r but no sign of the 5125m around I love my tractor basic as possible but now that there is a 5130m out hope it comes soon so I can get a demonstration
smh. Bought a 2024 5075E Premium cab late last year to replace my 2018 5075E open station. Deere fanboys will say this is petty, but the fact that a $70K "Premium Cab" tractor does NOT have a factory installed horn is ridiculous. I enjoy opening my cab door so I can lean outside and yell to get the attention of people instead of just beeping a horn. Or using the horn to notify a truck driver backing into position when to stop for loading material with the bucket or forks. Also, I love dealing with the fly's that get in my cab every time I open the door just to yell. Yeah, sometimes you can open a window to yell, but it rarely works...Horns work every time and zero fly's enter the cab. I'm so pissed about no horn on my "Premium Cab" tractor that I started looking closer at my buddies 75hp New Holland...Yes, It comes with a horn along many other things that make it feel like a better quality tractor overall. I am going to look very close at New Holland when I buy my next tractor.
I see they've used the same 2 button's for raising the 3 point lift that use to be on the rear fenders on jd. Do you also has to hold those while lifting in the premium cab or is it some other system inside the cab?
You can, but I believe it will require some cutting of your interior to make the spot for it. Are you thinking about doing it yourself or letting the dealership do it?
Probably overkill. These are true utility tractors with 60 - 75 Hp. They have an overall length of 12 feet and weigh about 6,000 pounds. But far be it from me to limit your desires.
I have a 5065E with cab and loader I have a 150'x150' lot in the city. It works for me. I use it in my garden and I use the loader a lot. Also have a farm I take it to when needed but the tractor stays and gets used at my city house lot.
@@denali9449 I agree if I didn't have other uses for the tractor it is way to much for my city home. However all my neighbors enjoy it in the winter because I clear all their snow. Biggest reason for such a large tractor I regularly lift 2400 lb pallets and the smaller tractors will not do it safely.
Wow! $8-9K for stuff that should come standard for a tractor that price. Deere just loves to nickel and dime you to death. In this case, it's a lot of nickels and dimes!
@@WesternEquipment I have a older 5520 and it had all the stuff that the premium cab has so this is nickel and dime to death and its a crime what Deere has done to all the smaller dealerships .
@@WesternEquipmentSome people may not think twice about paying the difference, however it does not change the fact, that 8k for those few options are a rip off.
From my perspective John Deere is out-of-touch with the market. For the price point of Green Paint, all JDs should start as an M Series with 80 percent standard features, and 20 percent optional pleasantries for those folks that want/can afford the auto ball washer.

great video:) Nice to see one of the new 5E models in one of your videos(5060E).

How come my 2023 premium cab 5060e doesnt have side mirrors?
That’s a good question. I’m not sure why side mirrors were not included in the upgrades.
Ordered a 5095M with premium cab last August. Still not here as of May.
Hopefully they will start rolling in soon. Have you gotten any updates from your dealer?
@@WesternEquipment Should be any week. Thanks for the reply

It is still the two buttons to raise and lower while in the cab.
Most important which cab has a seat that will last 6 months
Both. What problems are you having with your seat?

I want to put the instructor seat in my 5E standard cab. Can i do that?

how big are these tractors i mean can i put one those in my grandparents property they have 3 1/2 acres

You could. It all depends on what you are going to be using it for. What are your plans?
HOW WIDE IS THIS TRACTOR
Does a standard cab have air conditioning
Yes it does!
What about speakers? I'm looking at one new that doesn't come with a radio I'm trying to find out how much it would cost me to put a radio in

Just like every tractor brand, there are different trim models to fit different people preferences. Not everything can come as a standard option.

To each their own. Is there something about the premium that you don't like?
Fantastic machine, but not even remotely worth 8-9 grand for the difference.
This is all opinion. To some folks it may be more than worth it.

i like the JD 5075E 2wd open station its simple but it gets the job
