Wanted to hate it I really did. But love it. How clever. Brilliant
Me too.
Right totally Agree
I absolutely LOVE this! What a great way to think outside the box and to use all sides. I can imagine hooking another circle space on one side for the childrens' sleep and play areas. What a way to make sure toys don't overwhelm a room and to ensure they all get put away before bed. Of course, it would require parental controls and have a set bathroom on the end, requiring children to enter the main house before converting from play area to sleep zone. What genius! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with the rest of the world. I do see this as a way to counter homeless issues. Just make better use of space, cut down on consumerism, and clean up after selves. No more clutter! You both rock!
As a design concept it's genius, but in the real world it's completely pointless.
Dude, Its a design for the future, and reality of the world will be different in the future 😄
Actually it is awesome
Now if someone can build it pressurised and a rocket to launch it into orbit
Why pointless? Functional amazing space with all amenities is the future, even on Earth
this feels like the room from that episode of black mirror with the bikes
Alice in Space Age Wonderland. It's not practical, but the "child-like" quality of exploring design is fascinating.
Imagine it as an air B&b or hotel gimmick though. It'd be epic for a weekend
The lighting reflects in the TV/mirror too much and you couldn’t ever do anything that requires swapping rooms quickly, or, indeed, bring anything new into it, ever, really, too small too tricky to redecorate, but it’s a fun concept and might work as a ‘pop up hotel room’ type thing perhaps?
I would want my private getaway cabin to be like this
I love the rotating home amazing this is the future 😍 ❤
Ingenious
George Clarke’s dad is Arthur C Clarke in his words “bonkers” 😂
Imagine being stuck in that during a lockdown! Worse still, imagine you are asleep in bed and the motors go haywire and start on their own.
you know if you had this circular design inside the fuselarge of a spaceship, like say a starship, you could use the rotation of the spacecraft to create artificial gravity and so instead of having the room rotate, you just step down from one wall/floor/ceiling to the next, which could lead to all four or five rooms being used at once.
Fantastic...
It’s really cool, maybe not the most practical but really cool. Maybe ppl just need to think more positively
Round houses like Domes can also maybe survive tornadoes too
good idea when musk moves us to mars
The design is incredible and will take off one day💥💥💥🚀
Yeah until someone needs a shit and skinks up the entire house
@@harryturner8701 well, only one person could live in one and we all love to smell our own.
@@Lumibear. 🤢🤢🤮
If you forget something in your bedroom as you’re running out to work... yikes!
I fucking love this!
Bob Mortimer brought me here.
Things crashing around was the most challenging bit? Must be a heck of a seal on that throne & over the sink drain...& some interesting plumbing connections.
Imagine sitting at breakfast, suddenly feeling quite ill, needing the throne & sink & w/e choice of meds & cup of water...then just wanting to lie down.
It's cute, & can lead to interesting ideas, but no mystery why this is called trash tv 🙄
I love the concept but, I don’t think it will explode as people think. What about families? Children are going to want and need their own room, you can’t just rotate rooms while they are in theirs and it’s only limited to 4 rooms. For an individual it’s a great brilliant idea but for those with families or even just more than 1 person I am not a fan
Amazing!
They barrell rolled a house. That's got to be a first
Bob Mortimer brought me here.
This is cool, but the Japanese have been inventing and using advanced tech for this exact reason, maximizing livable space. Personally I think this rotating house is more for the cool factor then practicality.
I'm wondering if it could be scaled down a bit to fit on back of a truck, like a camper?
So hang on. What if your watching TV and suddenly need a piss?
you do it in your space suit
The loo does not rotate. Watch the whole film. I was thinking that until they showed the loo before the last room.
It's in the control room at the back, with the tub! I'm thinking it's a hell of a trip from the bedroom in the middle of the night though!
Ha! Brilliant
How would a family with children live in such a space, children studying, baby sleeping in bedroom, someone doing dishes, someone doing laundry someone watching tv and relaxing The lounge and someone taking a bath….
Don’t have kids in this.
My first question was where am i supposed to be sitting while my home is rotating? 😂
Where would the cats go tho?
Tigers don’t need houses...meow
Physics are optional for cats anyway.
Get them to turn it with those big running wheels you can get, plus carpet tiles everywhere, they'll be fine lol
Funny watching the other guys face listening to George, he’s not convinced and I know why, he’s the one that has to make it so he knows how ridiculous and impractical the idea really is! 🤦♀️
Um, “Astronaut Ice Cream” never went into space. And, it tastes chalky.
How much for 50 houses
Not sure what I think about it. Clever to be sure, practical - probably not
To answer the question, no I would not live there!
hi sammy
Seems like a prison of the future to me!
2nd🥺🥺🥺🥺
Such hyperbole about nonsense
An inaccessible home powered by wheelchair motors. How ironic.
This is stupid. you can only use one room at a time, everything would have to be strapped down so it didn't fly all over the place and the plumbing and electrical would be a mess
Watched every episode of this season waiting for this and it was such a huge disappointment. No furniture attached like they originally planned. And fyi comedy shows have been doing rotating rooms for 20 years and did it better than this. Look up Shaun McAuliffe.
2nd
If this is the future I'd rather die
Second
First, I'm immature hahah.
@Georgie Tirebiter oh yes ofc, made sure to get it. i'll send a photo later
Not practical for someone with a disability.
A single volume space that is totally useless for people who actually have real lives. Example: Where do I build giant scale models? It wastes most of its space. It’s clever, but totally impractical. Oops. Sorry the power is out. Enjoy being stuck between rooms for the next 6 days.
Nice idea, but not logical for me in practice
a sip of coffee and you have to go to the toilet and quickly too
how do you do that you can't leave the coffee + before that thing is rotated i'm afraid it's already too late :)🤣
The loo doesn't rotate. It's always accessible from each "room". It's the kitchen that's not accessible when you are watching the TV.
I hate that guy's voice.
Nonsense structure ..... its would be nightmare even for a homeless person.
