FYI, all these visuals is what would play on the screens for the _Demon Days_ concerts, back when Damon was still determined to remain obscured and not visible on stage for live shows, letting Jamie's art do the "performing." BUT, the art that Jamie put together here that we're seeing was all (mostly) conceptual art for the original Gorillaz MOVIE that they were trying REALLY hard to get made at that point, but which could never materialize. It would have had a lot to do with some kind of Zombie Apocalypse, with Gorillaz having to battle pop star zombies or something to that effect. When this fell through, the whole entire Gorillaz storyline flipped on it's head tbh. I mean, Russel's story is totally different. I think his whole character kinda got murdered by that cuz by _Plastic Beach_ they clearly had no idea what to do with him. Even got the ghost of Del removed from him off screen somewhere.
Perhaps some of these concepts will be used in the upcoming Gorillaz Netflix movie that they HAVE signed all the contracts for and which IS finally happening. They're working through initial drafts, probably getting close to done with the pre-production process by now, I'd imagine. Expect it to hit Netflix by late-2021 at the earliest, annnnd....let's say by mid-to-late-2022 at the _absolute_ latest.
@MIA DANYLUK ¿What part of "I expect it to hit Netflix by *LATE-2021* (as in the final ¼ of 2021 - October, November, or December of 2021) at the absolute *EARLIEST,* and *MID-TO-LATE-2022* (as in anywhere between June of 2022 and December of 2022) at the absolute *LATEST"* (meaning a window of anywhere between *OCTOBER OF 2021 AT THE EARLIEST AND DECEMBER OF 2022 AT THE ABSOLUTE LATEST)* did you have trouble understanding, _mi pinche amigo pequeño feo y estupido,_ hmmm?
