Strongly recommend having your Tortum climb on a moss pole. Its much more manageable & aesthically pleasing since all leaves face forward. Most importantly the internodal spacing is tight so a 90cm moss pole would last ages.
Hi! Do you also have a tortum on a mosspole? Maybe at a sudden point, I will add in a small wooden stick, though. But for now, I like how the Tortum is looking in its current location 😄 But that can change with time, haha.
@@josejosephine yes I do but on a grow vertical style 90cm pole. It climbs nicely and the "fingers" look very nice when facing the same direction. I didn't have any trouble with it climbing. I simply strapped it to the pole and once it rooted, I never had to strap it again. I love the fact that I dont need to chop and prop it like the other pbilodendrons due to its tight internodal spacing + slower growth. Its also pretty forgiving if you forget to water the moss.
Thank you! ❤ They all live in their own made mix. The humidity is somewhere between 50 % and 70%. I will soon make an updated houseplant tour. There, I will go a little deeper into the light and such that the plants are getting. 😄
@josejosephine One that is similar in size as the one you featured with the exception of the number of large leaves. Mine only has 5 6 large leaves and 3 small leaves at the base.
Enjoyed your repots. The P. Tortum is so big and beautiful.
Thank you! ❤ Makes me happy to hear. The Tortum has grown a lot!
So in love with your tortum! All your plants are beautiful ❤
Thank you, I appreciate it ❤
So envious of that tortum. It's beautiful.
Nahw, thank you ❤ It has grown a lot. It was a rather small plant when I got it. Do you also have one?
Your plant so beautiful and look healthy 💞
Thank you! ❤
Hi ! Dude you're so cool as your plants..

Would love to know what conditions you give your plants. They’re all so beautiful especially that Sp. Colombia

I just found a Philodendren Tortum Twisted Sister at Home Depot for $19.98. I checked at several locations in my area (Greensboro, NC).
Ah, that's great! A small one or a bigger one? Hope it grows well for you 😃

Oh, that's a nice price for the Tortum 😬 Lucky find!
You need to be a bit more prepared at what you’re doing like pot sizing it’s not that hard to figure out.
That would be very unrelatable to me personally
