Great collection of transformations, I loved them all (hmmm, didn't care for the trampoline). In some cases, our family, friends and neighbours are a great place to receive and give plants. Perennials can always be divided and shared and this saves a lot of money, and if you have plants to share, you can trade.
Re the trampoline idea, you could spruce it up by adding some trellis to the poles and vines/creepers up it, training them around the old trampoline rungs
Bobby last year I got a dumptruck of a mix of small river-stone & crushed granite. Lovely stuff. Even with good lining beneath, this year it is full of wild strawberry runners, clover & violets & a whole line of forget-me-not blown in from distant gardens. A cu. yard is $35....does not go far once raked out so people should not underestimate # of yards needed for a thick bed since a delivery charge goes ontop of the truckload. Mine was a $50 charge since they are nearby. So many photos do not show 3 yrs down the road photos...& swearing that they are no poisoning the ground water system.
@katherine spencer So true. No matter what we do there’s going to be maintenance based on the seasons. If it rains like crazy and then it’s 100° weeds are going to spread out no matter what you do. All I can say is we can do our best to prep areas so that we have as little work as possible. Thank you for watching
