Beautiful. Thank you so much for showing us how.
Thank you! You’re welcome 😊
What a lovely idea. I’m amazed at how you come up with different ideas all the time.
Thank you! I tend to get a lot of ideas from Pinterest and then reverse engineer. A lot of of the ideas aren’t necessarily polymer clay, but jewelry made from different materials. I see something I like, then try to make it.
Omg stunning! Thank you Deb for another terrific tutorial!❤

How insane is this? I move to Old Blighty (from the states)...finally find a good person with great skills to have as a mentor and what does she do??? She bloody well moves to the states! *Bangs head on wall...
Hahahaha! I have been here for ten years, though!
Where in Blighty are you?
@@clayboutique I moved to Stroud in Gloucestershire a bit over 17 years ago. I left my poor baby brother alone in Virginia.

@@clayboutique I have done so madam.. thank you!
I love what you have done with 2 simple colors! Can I ask what glaze you used over mica powder side?
Thanks.
All the materials I used are in the description (click on the little down arrow).
Very pretty! What was the protective glaze you used? Please 😊
I thought I said in the vid 🤔
Any water based glaze will do. I personally use Minwax.
Question: so beautiful! Do you have a link to show how you did the resin and glitter back? I’m new at this and would love to learn.
ua-cam.com/video/doBK-lfSz3k/v-deo.html
What type of glaze do you use to protect the mica powder? Some times I don’t want to use resin for everything. I’ve been searching the internet on what to use on mica powders and also for gold and silver leaf. Thank you so much I really admire you as and artist and instructor from your videos. ❤️
Any water based polyurethane glaze will do. I use Minwax.
Ok thank you very much. Your videos are so well explained and you give me so much inspiration to create my own versions using some of your techniques.

Thank you 💕
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it a hard process to start making clay pieces for jewelry? This is beautiful
How long do you bake it for?
I’m not sure I understand your question. Do you have any polymer clay?
@@clayboutique I do not have any yet but I want to start using it, I really love the silver clay pieces I was just curious about getting started. Do I need to purchase a lot of stuff to get started. I thought I would start with just plain old polymer clay then move up to the silver. Do you sell your pieces that you make in your store or online?

If you click the down arrow next to the title of the video, I list everything you would need for this tutorial.
I good place to start is to buy some clay, obviously, some simple cutter shapes, an acrylic roller, a rigid blade, a flexible blade, maybe a couple of stamps or texture sheets. I mean, it’s hard for me to say what you should get, because it depends on what you want to make. But blades, a roller and basic cutters would be the minimum starting point, IMO.
I would suggest watching tutorials to get a general idea of what it is you want to make, then buy accordingly.
P.s there’s no silver clay used in this video…
@@clayboutique thank you!
