      Elektra Pedersen agreed nowadays dancers especially ballet dancers are expected to eat as little as possible because it is the only way they can seem beautiful on stage not knowing that it will cause there whole body to suffer and so there dancing suffers too. If you allow dancers to be themselves and eat normally imagine how much more beautifully there dancing would become.

      i think its the script, this movie is truly beautiful, the little details they added, especially when victor protects felicie's head when going through the boards while escaping from camille's mother, the voice acting is pretty much expressive by itself, the script wasnt that good, could be calmer and probably not too exaggerating at some scenes since the voice acting already has it yknow- this movie is so underrated, i just looooooveeee it, one of the best animated movies 💖💖💖

      what do you mean you can feel the anger in her voice the grunting the fact that she could care less about how camile is feeling and you can also tell how much more she is willing to do anything to get what she wants even putting her own daughter through tourture or suffering regardless of if she even wants it or not you can tell all that just by that one sentence she said and her tone of voice how was that acting not great? lol

    What annoys me about this, is that Felicie’s mentor is all like “Perfect technique and years of training don’t mean anything, you can beat her if you have passion!” Come on. Camille has years of training and obviously flawless technique, there’s no way Felicie can get even close to that level in that amount of time. And also she’s en pointe in BOOTS

      @sixth3706 3 роки тому +17

      bad english not an american

    • @mattakubodimasen10
      @mattakubodimasen10 2 роки тому +14

      I agree, the trope that makes a character come into something completely new and being able to beat a hard trained prodigy with passion and hard work isn't very realistic, many works use it and turn out to just be favouring the main character's jard work while pushing down the side characters'.
      Though Leap still managed to do something right in my opinion, the trope is overused and old, but the main purpose was to inspire and motivate, and i think it at least did well in that. I don't like nor agree with the trope, but i enjoyed what the movie made me feel a lot. Plus, they flesh out even the "villain" character's personality, which was really nice and ended the movie on a heart warming note.
      Love your point, and your english is fine!

      @@sixth3706 liking to dance and being a ballet dancer in pointe shoes is a step you could take in at least 1 year if you were INSANELY good at Ballet, not months at most like in the movie. Besides needing to learn technique she needs to build a very specific strenght to be able to even attempt to use these shoes

    I remember when I first did ballet. I loved it since I was 4 but my parents didn’t have enough money to pay for it. I went to live with my uncle after some issues happened which ended with me not living with my parents anymore and he decided to enroll me in ballet lessons at the age of 10.
    I was good at it ever since I started for my age, it’s like as soon as I started to move with the rhythm of the music I let go of all my worries and stress, it was hard work and required a lot of ice baths after hours of daily work but it was so worth it. It’s the best high anyone can experience for me. The feeling of your feet and arms graciously moving around to the swell of the harmonies and being being apart of such a beautiful thing made it so amazing. This movie rlly brings back memories

He gave up everything so you could be with Him in Heaven when He returns AND have a life of light and strength through Him, and there's nothing you can't do with Him guiding you. I have a theory of her mother
    Felice is a ginger right? Her mom was one, and Felice had green eyes which is rarer or not as common. The guard from the orphanage has green eyes as well (I haven’t seen the full movie in 3 months so bare with me if I’m wrong) I think the guard is her father and remember he always ran after Felice when she tried running away. But at the end he was the one that brought her back to the place where she danced. Plus they do look rather similar. As well Felice is taller then Victor probably getting the traits from tall parents that she had . The guard also mentioned that no one ever told him he can make it into the big city and that’s why he stayed in the country. I believe her mother was a dancer at the opera but died in the fire that Odette got her limp in. During the time of the fire Felice was a baby, and her father took care of her (perhaps in the country). I also think that Odette and Felice’s Mom were sisters or very close friends. I have a feeling that when Odette met Felice she felt that same connection she had with her mother. What do you think?

      @@kitkatloverforever I think it is possible. Because at an orphanage. He often asks "Where is Felicie?". He specifies that she. If he is really her father he may be more worried about her than others(or is it because Felicie maynot have obeyed his commands and is thinking of running away from the orphanage😅)

    • @kitkatloverforever

      @@poypoy7795 Yes, I think he is her father cuz he always asks about her, and when she returned back to the orphanage he noticed how sad and depressed she was, not any caretaker would just give the same amount of attention he has to Felice. Also maybe he never told her that he was her father because he doesn't want to hold her back, or have an opportunity for another family to take care of her and give her a better life. Also I remember towards the end when she was trying to run away and he was like OK LET'S go! How did he know exactly where to take her? Yes its true Felice showed that she was interested in Ballet and could've told him where to go, but I believe he KNEW exactly what roads and building to take her to, which means that he has driven there before and probably a lot since it would've been a while since he's been back to the Opera House. They also did a big hug at the end and he even started crying, perhaps it was nostalgic of him doing that because he remember dropping her mom off at the same place and seeing how happy she was. Just a thought thoo:)

      @@poypoy7795 Well to put in short, no care taker would just give any amount of attention the same he has with Felice. He noticed how sad and depressed she was and saw she was into ballet. The night she wanted to escape he was like OK LET'S GO, he didn't even hesitate. I believe he KNEW exactly what roads and building to take her cuz he's been there before. Now why you ask? It was because if my theory is correct then Felice's mom was a ballerina at the Opera House and her dad always dropped her off every morning thus explaining where he knew to take Felice. Yes it could be true that Felice just told him where to go but I don't think thats the case. Also not to mention at the end when he dropped her off and he started crying I can't remember is she did but he was crying because this moment was nostalgic for him. He remembers all the time he would drop off her mother and picking her up, in other words I think this may be his last goodbye. Just a thought tho:)
